Our Pick up service takes place in the center of Milan (if option selected) The bus takes approximately one hour to Pick up all of the passengers, subject to traffic conditions and the number of passengers booked for that particular tour. For this reason, pick up times are shown as an interval “Starting from 6:00” means that we will pick up you at your hotel at 6:00 or after in order to be in time for the beginning of the tour.

What To Expect

Begin your day trip at a central location in Milan. Meet your guide and hop aboard a comfortable coach, where you’ll journey toward Verona, the setting of Shakespeare’s famed Romeo and Juliet.

Upon arriving, explore the city center on a 2-hour, guided walking tour. See the main squares of Piazza delle Erbe and step out onto 'Juliet's balcony' at the house of Juliet, rumored to be the former abode of the ‘real life’ Juliet from whom Shakespeare drew his inspiration. After visiting this romantic attraction, stop by the Roman Arena, the popular amphitheater where concerts and operas are held in the summertime. Then head to Piazza Bra, Verona's main square, and enjoy some free time to purchase lunch and explore the city on your own.

Reunite with your guide after roughly an hour and hop back on your bus toward Lake Garda, once a summer resort area for the ancient Romans. Stop at the beautiful lakeside village of Sirmione and soak up more free time to explore the medieval streets and the moated castle of Rocca Scaligera. Hit the water with a 30-minute cruise on Lake Garda (own expense), or wander through a ruined Roman villa and admire archaeological finds.

After a full day of exploration, your day trip will conclude at your original departure point in Milan.

How to fall in love with a country and culture

Verona was incredible! Juliettes balcony is not included in the tour price but you do get to see it…but is only 6 euro and you need to book online at the time. Take cash for lake garda!!! Cash machines are sparse (verona too!) great info if you love dante and shakespere and italian bloodbaths! Well worth the money (just dont go to lake como the day before ….) depends what kinda lake you like really but …. All in all value for money and informative, very enjoyable. and if you’re staying as far out as mozzate have taxi fare or alternative transport means in case the trains get cancelled!

The tour bus pick up point was convenient for us. The bus was clean, comfortable and had air confirming. It was a delightful surprise to see the same tour guide that we had at LaScala who is Edgeli who was excellent. poorly organized trip

The trip was poorly organized, with a group that our guide did not manage properly. Some of the participants expected commentary in Spanish, but that was not provided. This caused delays at every stop. The physical demands were also too much for a number of participants, and that caused even more delays, ruining a trip that could have been much smoother with a smaller group.

Wonderful tour. Our guide was extremely informative and I was impressed by the amount of knowledge she had and her willingness to shared with us. She was very patient and asked all questions we had including showing the road map with all stops to each of us individually. I learned or been reminded about Roman gates, most important places to visit while in Verona, important buildings and types of food. Sadly the day was rainy and could not enjoy as much as I expected. Worth having a poncho at all times.

The tour of the city of Verona was great! Our guides were very welcoming informative and very enthusiastic. The walking tour covered many interesting places and historic sites. We also enjoyed a boat trip around the lake. I was also impressed with our bus driver! The traffic in and around Milan is very problematic but our driver was skillful in some really challenging traffic and construction areas. Price wise and value——it was clearly well worth it!

This is a must when visiting Milan! Verona is phenomenal to say the least. The tour was wonderful and our tour guide was very knowledgeable of the history. You have a few hours of free time, and you will not be disappointed. Lake Garda is stunning. Take the 30 minute boat ride, the water is amazing. Walk around and enjoy the beach. It is a quick stop, but enough time to walk around and enjoy the scenery.

Leave Milan city back and head out to beautiful Verona, where Andrea tells you all about you need to here specially from history but also good food recomendations. Later that day we get to go to Sirmione and the short boat ride over the Garda Lake, sure it should last a little longer.

This was a fun jam packed day tour. Nacha was very sweet and informative. She gave us lots of tips and suggestions of where to explore during the day tour and even afterward on your Milan trip. There was a huge accident on the freeway, so the driver Davide got off the highway and took a one way road to pass up most of the traffic. It was a bit scary but we made it! Lol! Verona has so much rich history, and hearing about the history from Andrea was very enlightening. Loved that we were able to go inside of the the arena and scale the steps. My favorite part of the tour was going to Sirmione. It’s such a striking town and the beaches are stunning! Although it was a lot packed into one day, it was a nice way to explore some other smaller cities outside of Milan while learning about them through our tour guides. I’d recommend this day tour to first time Milan visitors who are looking to maximum their time exploring other nearby cities.

I wish they didn't package Garda lake on this tour. There was nothing to see or do there. It's wasn't anything spectacular like Cumo lake. I would have preferred to spend more time in Verona instead.
