We had a really great time and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Modena and/or surroundings! Marcello and Paolo are super friendly and open. It's really amazing to see and hear about their tradition and family history. We have learnt a lot! We got to taste amazing balsamico and we were surprised with the amount of delicious food and wine that was shared with us on top of that. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip! 100% worth the price!

A great, highly recommended, experience. A true family-operated Acetaia with an inspiring approach on making (and aging) balsamic di Modena. Also, value-wise, one of the best tasting experiences. You will get a chance to taste various ages, expensive ones as well, and later to accompany them with food and evaluate different pairings.
Great tasting and tour
Timothy_W, Oct 2023
Excellent tour delivered by Marcelo, sharing his family’s history making balsamic vinegar. But the tasting - oh, my… what delicious vinegar, and great pairings of meat, cheeses, and desserts. The wine was also very good. Well worth the price.
Passion, Love, and true Artisans!
peter_s, Oct 2023
The father and son that guided us had so much passion and love for what they do! They are true artisans and could not have been nicer about sharing their story and exceptional products with us. We were treated like royalty and had to pinch ourselves at times as we appreciated every minute there. Exceptional!

A great experience where we learned a lot not only about balsamic vinegar, but also about the families and the philosophy around it. 5 stars.
Amazing experience, we’ll worth the price

Wonderful experience all around. Way beyond my expectations. Very interesting history of making this traditional balsamic vinegar and appreciating the quality. Fantastic charcuterie with local Parma ham and parmigiana reggano cheese and wines. Not to mention dessert! We’ll worth the price.

The afternoon we spent with the Cavedoni family was our most meaningful and memorable experience of our trip to Italy! They were gracious, welcoming, and we were so thrilled to learn about the history of their family and the care they put in to the making of their balsamic vinegars and other products. What a treat!

Was a wonderful and very insightful tour! The hosts were absolutely amazing and we couldn’t have wished for anything more.
AMAZING Balsamic tour!!!
Peter_R, Sept 2023
A truly amazing experience! It ended up we had a private tour because the group of 4 that would have joined us missed the event. Marcellus (son) and Paolo (father) were both amazing. It was educational, informative, etc. I would recommend this tour to anyone. Tour information should tell you to ring the bell at the gate if it is closed when you arrive since this is a private home as well as a vinegar and lambrusco production facility. A few very interesting little towns close by as well.
Delicious and informative!
Ian_C, Sept 2023
A wonderful experience with a great presentation on Balsamic production and aging, how to know if you're getting sold an inferior product, wrapped up with a delicious tasting of local meat, cheese, and dessert from local producers -- all with incredible *real* Balsamico.
Taste of history
Daniel_O, Aug 2023
The most impressive tour as far as culture, knowledge and passion. To touch and taste history with Marcelo’s family Balsamic vinegars was a true experience!! Recommend this to all foodies and passionate people of all natures! Thank you for the memorable experience. Isabella, Roa & Daniel Australia
Vingar pairing with regional foods
Fung_S, Aug 2023
We hired a car for the day to get to this fantastic venue and the host and venue did not disappoint. We learnt so much about how balsamic vinegar is made the traditional way, from harvest to storing. It was fascinating to see the oldest vats of vinegar stored in double barrels. We signed up for the gourmet experience and paired vinegar of various vintages with different types of food--what a revelation! I would highly recommend stocking up on the vinegar from this company as the prices for the vintages of 19 years plus is much more reasonable than those found in the shops dotted around Bologna and Florance.
Amazing balsamic tasting
Isabel_A, July 2023
Great experience, very respectful and caring host. It was way more than I expected. Ended up buying 2 types of balsamic and also great Lambrusco wine. Would do it again.
Fantastic Balsamic Vinegar Tour
