What To Expect

Make your own way to the canopy tour headquarters to begin your tour.

Your guide provides a safety briefing and helps you to get outfitted with the appropriate equipment. Once you are ready, follow your guide through the zipline course, one of the longest canopy tours in Costa Rica. The route takes you along 15 zipline cables, 18 platforms, and gives you the option to try the Tarzan swing at the end.

Located inside the Monteverde Cloud Forest, the zipline tour offers a close look at the jungle along with a thrilling ride.

A very fun experience worth the money!

The zip line experience was fantastic! My 11-year old daughter said it was the best or second best :) activity she’s ever done on vacation. With 13 or so zip lines to ride on, it was worth the money. The scenery was absolutely beautiful too! The only critical feedback I have is that the checkin process had a long line. But everyone was very pleasant. (Tip: I’d skip the restaurant. You can get much better food at more reasonable prices outside of the park.)

Firstly, I paid thru Viator sight $70.77 per person whereas buying directly thru Selvatura would’ve been $55. So do yourself a favor and buy directly from Selvatura. Secondly, it didn’t see anywhere on Viator or Selvatura Park about hiking. I can understand a walk to another canopy but there was some incline and one of my companions had a hard time with the hike. Thirdly, I managed to finish the 13 cables. Unfortunately, on the way back to return the equipment. I slipped due to a wet spot on the trail going back. I thought I sprained my ankle but upon returning back to US, my ankle was actually broken. It happened after zip lining. I had 3 days left on my trip in Costa Rica. I made the most of it in spite of injury. I just couldn’t enjoy swimming the beaches of Manuel Antonio.
