Take Home the Orange Chocolate
Ricci_G, Feb 2022
This was a fun morning excursion. We were picked up at our hotel and bussed to the Don Juan plantation. There, we learned about how coffee is produced and the process for making chocolate. The tour was very informative and the people were great. We even go a photo op with Don Juan, himself. The souvenir shop is full of great gift ideas to take home, but the dark orange chocolate was my favorite. Unfortunately, none of the chocolate made it back home since it was so good to eat in the evenings with a cup of tea.
Interactive, informative tour
Tina_G, Jan 2022
The tour is very interactive. You help create a drink from cocoa beans, you get sugar water out of sugar cane, you help pick coffee beans. The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly.
