Rodiber was a great guide, very knowledgable and flexible as to what we wanted. He found us three quetzals, a bellbird and a MotMot, and told us some really interesting facts about ecology in Costa Rica and the history of quetzal feather headdresses! Curi Cancha was our favourite reserve at Monteverde, small and manageable but open enough to get great views and see the wildlife. We stayed In the reserve for quite a while afterwards to have lunch at watch the hummingbirds. highly recommend Rodiber as a guide; ask for him if you book. He didn’t manage to find us a Trogon but next time!!

The reserve was very generous that morning with a good weather too.
Quetzals, Bellbirds, Coaties and other animals to see. The trogon just hid but, a good reason to comeback. O did it next day and it was there, just one good enough but none bellbird.

Vi togs emot väldigt bra av vår kunniga guide. Vi fick se många fina fåglar, inklusive en quetzal. Vi fick även se en armadillo, coati och olika ekorrar. Vi såg även en tarantella.
Det regnade men trots det var det en lyckad tur.
