This is the oldest hanging bridge park in Costa Rica and I would say the most beautiful and diverse. The bridges are held in place with cables, but the they are engineered not to sway which made it easy to feel save while taking pictures. We heard more birds than we saw, but the walk was delightful and reminded us of our prehistoric world.

The Cloud Forest from Above
Sandra_P, Feb 2023
The hanging bridges are a great way to see the cloud forest from above. They did not sway a lot so they felt safe. There is some relatively easy hiking from bridge to bridge.
Beautiful and easy walk

We went self guided. If we were to do it again we would get a guide. It is beautiful. The bridges aren’t true swinging hanging bridges. They are suspension bridges which are more stable.
Self guided tour

This was a great tour. Really worth while. It’s a self guided tour. But you do get picked up from your hotel and dropped back to your hotel after the tour.
Beautiful self guided walk

The desicrption states tour but it is self guided but was really nice. Just wish it was clearer in the description
Quetzal sighting!!!
Kimberley_B, Apr 2022
It was raining really hard, but we still loved it. Bring or buy a rain poncho if it’s raining down at the main office. It was raining a lot harder as we proceeded up the trail. It was a magical experience to be that high up in the forest. And we spotted and observed a pair of quetzals from one of the higher bridges. They were flying around trees right next to the trail.
Just amazing.

Good trip for familias, couples or travelling by yourself.
Best hanging bridges in all of Costa Rica
Parker_G, Mar 2022
WOW - the jungle is absolutely stunning. We did not see very many animals, but the jungle was more beautiful than the one in La Fortuna. And the bridges here are very safe and do not sway very much. Felt very secure. Probably took us about an hour and a half to walk through, stop and admire.

no animals
Thomas_A, July 2019
Sights were beautiful and it was fun being up that high in the trees and looking at everything. I was disappointed that we did not get to see any animals. There were a few birds and centipedes but nothing else and we went in the morning as we were told that is when everything is active. Still a great view just disappointed not seeing animals of any kind.
You get to guide yourself on this...
Shayda M, July 2018
You get to guide yourself on this tour and go at your own pace. This is a great spot for photos but I recommend getting a paid driver or shuttle. The road up is dirt with many potholes and no railing by the cliff side. The drive is intense but the park is very nice. Try to eat somewhere along the way as the restaurant onsite is VERY expensive!
Another great costa rican...
Camille L, Feb 2018
Another great costa rican experience, with a great guide !
I would certainly recommand this activity for people or families with young children who enjoy to learn more about the country's animals and vegetation, and who can appreciate an easy and peaceful walk in the canopy !

This was a great experience for us. The views from these bridges are incredible. However, you have to be prepared for rain. Rain. Every. Day.
Paseo por las nubes.
Fernando_B, Aug 2023
