Poor Experience, Avoid this

Mislead by title which implied multiple beer and wine choices (only one provided at the end and it was very poor quality). The only food provided was a single bagel. The guide was not conscious of volume when speaking nor riders who were often left behind at stoplights too many times and he didn’t notice without tour participants whistling for him to stop. The verbal history was not very interesting leaving out key elements of the city’s founding, key buildings (eg Norte Dame) & focusing too much on statues. The route was also congest d and not safe. I will not recommend or take similar tours from Viatour

Tour includes a light snack and an after-tour glass of wine or beer. For participants les behind or voice volume of the guide: we will inquire with the guide. We are sorry about this. Content of the tour: we do work with certified guides and the tour is described on our website. Route being congested: this tour is in the City so yes,there is trafic but our tour is sage on bike lanes. we take your comments serioulsy and once again, we are sorry you did not enjoy our guides bike tour . But i believe part of your insatisfaction came from incorrect expectation. Regards

Really liked the amount of ground we covered and the niche neighborhoods we rode through. The guide was very nice, patient and had great stories to tell. I’d advise, to get the most out of the tour, to have at least a mediocre fitness level.

Great tour! This is a must if you want to great a really good feel for Montreal. Mike was fantastic! He was so knowledgeable about Montreal and Quebec history. We rented regular bikes and did not find the tour too strenuous. We had initially signed up for e-bikes but since our daughters needed to be over 18 to rent them, we all rode regular bikes. The shop was kind enough to refund the difference in cost. We ride bikes as a family about once a year, usually at the beach, and found this to be an easy ride. It is such a great way to see Montreal and to get a good feel for it’s layout and neighborhoods.

Well noted for the group size and a regarding the question of peddling, please kindly note that t is a guided bike tour with many stops and comments from oui guides. But this service includes a full day bike rental. On am tour departure, clients can keep the bike after the tour till our closing time and as for our pm departure, clients can pick up their bike at 9 am . In both cases, we will supply our bike path map as well as our itineraries suggestions for clients who wants to pedal more. Also, for clients whose main focus is pedaling, we recommend our bike rental service. Hope this clarify differences between our services. Hi. Thank you for your comments and sorry you did not appreciate your tour. The essence of this tour is to visit our city with a guide. It is not a food tour or wine tour. We do make one short stop for snack during the tour ( bagel store) and we offer a complimentary glass of wine or beer served only at the end of the tour for a relaxing moment. As fortthe guide overstepping boundaries , he had no choice to do so since many participants of the group were under the influence of alcool. He had to do it for the safety of the participants. Please kindly note that of the member of the group did mention to us at the end of the tour that he truly enjoyed his bike exeprience with us.
