What To Expect

The north city circuit will immerse you in the local hangouts of the city’s hippest inhabitants. Concentrating on the vibrant and eclectic must-see neighborhoods north of the downtown core, you'll discover the incredibly diverse Plateau Mont Royal, artsy Mile End, up and coming Mile-Ex, and traditional Little Italy.

After meeting at the departure location, you'll be fitted to your stylish city bike and helmet (optional), and meet your guide for the ride.

You’ll zig and zag through narrow streets, ‘green lane-ways’, cafe-lined boulevards and spacious parks to make sure you won’t miss a beat. Along the way your guide will point out some impressive murals that form part of Montreal ever evolving street art scene. You will learn how the different communities and characters of each area have shaped its history and culture while discovering some of the city’s culinary delights, including the overload of local food & produce at the Jean-Talon farmer's market, North-America's largest open-air market. This ride is an authentic Montreal lifestyle experience.

We took this great tour at the start of our stay and I would 100% advise it to everyone. Martin starts off by explaining the city on his big wall map in the shop, then it’s off to discover all the different streets and their individual high spots. Martin is really in love with Montreal and he communicates his enthusiasm and gives you his top tips. The bikes are great and there’s a soo authentic bagel and coffee stop to keep energy levels up. A must.

I really enjoyed the entire experience! It was a last minute addition to my trip and easily became one of the highlights! Jeff was a great host, with interesting and funny stories. I frequently ride my bike at home, so I was hoping on a good pace and he did not disappoint. The stop for a tasty bagel and a visit to a farmer's market were great breaks to stop off at! Nice bike tour of neighborhoods that would be hard to visit otherwise. A bike ride was the perfect way to see the houses, parks and landmarks in the area. Bonus that Gabriel is a history teacher during the school year! He was quite knowledgeable about the history and sociology of the neighborhoods. Bikes were sturdy and comfortable.
