Overview

Experience the adrenaline-pumping excitement of a whitewater rafting adventure on this professionally guided, 2-hour excursion. Ride along the Lachine Rapids near downtown Montreal on the Saint Lawrence River. Choose from adventure rafting, where the waves get really intense, to the calmer family rafting trip along Class I-II rapids. Going through the rapids...

Going through the rapids and getting wet was exciting! It was great to jump in the water. The wetsuits were an added bonus as it was windy. When you get done, drive down the river and see the rapids from the shore.

A cool way to travel!

The pre-tour training was vital to a successful and fun trip. From the moment we climbed aboard the raft we enjoyed every minute of the voyage. Our guide was Morgan and he treated everyone with respect and kindness. We all felt safe due to his level of experience. We took our grandsons, 10 and 14, and they had a ball. The river was warm and the boys both jumped in when allowed. Highly recommended this trip for the entire family.

Guides were very helpful for first timers. Had a great time and got lots of sun. You will do a lot of rowing during the trip and you will get wet. Highly recommend!

We drove in our car from the city center. Not difficult. Easy parking. Friendly staff. The staff asked that we all wear wet suits ( provided) due to a cool breeze on the river. There are bathrooms large enough for changing clothes. The friendly staff will hold your belongings while on the river. All equipment was in good shape. The rapids were larger than I expected and at times the rapids were over our heads. I was thrown from the boat but quickly brought back on board. However, I was the only one tossed and even the small children on the other boat had no trouble- so maybe it was just me. Beautiful views and the entire process was straight forward and simple.

What can I say... this was so much fun! All of the guides were friendly and funny. Our personal guide, Gabriel, was absolutely fantastic... he was fluent in both French and English. He worked well with the kids in our raft (pre-teens). He offered us multiple opportunities to get into the water as it was an extremely hot day during our time. Highly recommend... a little bit of a workout but not too much!

Our guide, Mike, was terrific. We had a blast in the Lachine Rapids. Our 11 year old was a bit nervous at first, but ended up loving it! Super fun for an all-in 3 hour activity.

This was incredible. A must do if you visit Montreal. It definitely gets your adrenaline pumping. I had no prior rafting experience, but felt safe even with 15ft waves. The instructors are amazing -- they are very personable, while taking safety seriously. It's a great ride.

The level of rapids was less than I expected. The experience depends considerably on who else is in the boat and how much paddling they do. We had 4 youngsters who contributed little to our ability to maneuver into positon to get the better waves. We encountered only 2 or 3 good short rides, and there was a lot of paddling required by the participants. It can be a pleasant trip, but don't expect great rapids with a wild ride.
