Rough tour!

This is a cheap tour but you get what you pay for. They used a converted student bus without suspension. The ride was rough and extremely uncomfortable. There was not much "guide"; basically, a bus driver and a conductor to collect cash. A compulsory $9 tip was collected before the trip.

We enjoyed the day and loved having the time to explore on our own. The falls were impressive and Quebec City was interagency and beautiful. The "extras" like the cruises, the buffet and cable car should have been mentioned in the original description as well as the fact that one could only pay for them with cash.

Monmorecy Falls is definitely worth a visit (and especially the gift shop 👀) Quebec City is also pretty nice as it combines North American cities with the european culture. The bus trip was alright, just the organisation was only 3/5 as no one let me sign the waiver until we were in the bus for about 1 hour already.

The sites in this trip are well worth visiting, however the same cannot be said to the running of this tour: guide demanded a ‘mandatory tip’ before departing, then did no more for the day than give times to be back on the bus. As the Ice Hotel is closed from March, they time there was added onto Quebec City, which would have been good if it wasn’t for our time there then being 6 hours. Great city but the centre is small and we saw everything in detail within 2 hours. No City walk or information about the city was given beyond a text to the first link on google, as the guide had other places to be it seems. I asked the guide by text what else we should do with 4 hours left and the response was ‘go sit in Starbucks’.

It was a great day trip - Lena , our guide made her best to keep on track, suggests and share her knowledge on each location we visited, she definitely made the experience pleasant and entertaining, would recommend to friends, i had to pay only for ice hotel entrance and the waterfalls entrance and fees for driver/guide.

Not worth it

We spent 1h in Montmorency waterfall, where there was nothing to do. At lunch time, they took us to a buffet far away from the city centre and it was the only option to eat for 35 CAD$. Personally I would rather be walking around the city centre instead of eating in a buffet at an industrial estate. I don’t t wake up at 6am to eat in a restaurant where there is nothing to see. Then we spent 4 hours in old town quebec by ourselves because they guide did not give any recommendation or tour of the city. The tour ends at 19:30h.

A basic Quebec Tour

The tour was basically just a ride. The waterfalls cable cart was closed. The tour guide should of let us know. It clearly sates the dates of when the the carts will be closed. The Ice bar was also closed. There was no walking tour in Quebec City. We were just dropped off and had to explore on our own for 5 hours. There could of been some history or facts mentioned about the falls or Quebec City. We were force to go to a buffet for a hour. That was not part of the tour description so not sure why we had to go. Some people just took a taxi to Quebec City cause they did not travel all the way to Quebec to go to a buffet. I would suggest that the tour guide learn more about the destinations and be transparent of when places are closed.

The tour was great , the old city of Quebec the nicest area to visit , off course wish we had an extra 2 hours but the tour is scheduled. The tour guide and driver very very freindly , they drove me and my friend home sinse we live in downtown of Montreal, it was very cold and we were with a baby , ity was very kind of them

Extra charges that weren't mentioned on website. Mandatory $9 tips per person, $31 crappy lunch buffet, should just let us pick our own restaraunts in Old Town, $42 boat cruise, $6 admission fee to waterfall, $17 for gondola to waterfall. I checked the actual prices at entry points, and all were cheaper than what tour guide DEMANDED. Website does not explain in detail, need better transparency. These prices are in addition to trsnsportation.

The trip started and finished on time. The schedules were a little tight. A girl on our bus had to use the restroom just 30 minutes after our bus was on the way. But our driver and tour guide Yu handled the unexpected situation well. Our stay at the Montmorency was shortened but were on time for the rest of activities.

We had a wonderful time. We absolutely loved visiting the old Quebec; the AML cruise, St Anne s Cathedral and Falls were absolutely enchanting. Our tour guide Cynthia was the sweetest and our bus driver was very efficient; we got back to Montreal 1/2 hour before our scheduled time. We truly had an amazing time. Great experience!

Well the falls were beautiful, I was mistaken in assuming that if I didn't participate in some activities, that would equate to me more time in Québec City but no dice. It just meant I would have to stay at the activity waiting to get back on the bus. Well I liked the team lead, I was repeatedly frustrated that the group was told to be back at a certain time and then we'd have to wait 15 more minutes for the bus. We were behind constantly and it was super annoying that time that could have been spent exploring the sites was spent waiting for the bus. A good note is that if you do all the activities, you'll only have 90 minutes in Québec City. I wish I had known that previously. Also we went to a copper museum which I didn't have in the itinerary and didn't seem to have anything to do with the reason I signed up for the tour. Overall, I would look at other tour options before recommending this one.

The tour guide was really nice but things got delayed due to a bunch of teenagers who came back late. The bus is clean and reasonably comfortable. Be prepared to visit the restroom before and after boarding the bus. Overall a decent experience.

‘Tour Guide’ Lena was lovely, fun character but I found that the ‘tour’ was misleading. It’s about $50 for the day trip to Quebec, with a stop at the falls ($21), a buffet lunch ($29) a cruise ($39) and then left to wonder the city. Only to text a price list the night before with the costs of doing each of these events, told that you have to pay in cash and that you have to pay a tip to the guide($5 per child, $7 per adult) & driver ($5) at the beginning of the day. So as soon as we got on the coach we were asked for another $96 but we could pick what events we did or didn’t want to do. I would recommend only doing the cruise as you can see the falls from the boat - unless you wanted to get up close & personal with the waterfalls. So essentially the $50 was for the ride in what looked like a school bus to and from Montreal.
