A different part of Montreal, great to experience more than the usual "tourist stops:. The food was interesting, with good stories to go along. It is exceedingly unlikely that we would have found the places we were taken to on our own, even with all the on line guides. And a treat to go with Simon, who loves the local food and was able to share his love with us. Expensive, yes, but worth it. . .

Eric engaged all of us in conversation. I knew he was a good person because of his firm handshake and eye contact. My favorite savory dish was the gnocchi with tomato sauce and the freshly made cannolis.

Great food tour! My daughter and I really enjoyed this tour. Eric was a wonderful guide- super friendly and knowledgeable. The food was all delicious, especially the cannolis (we recommend pistachio and Limoncello). We also enjoyed walking through the Mile End neighborhood. Highly recommend!!

Got the most out of our one day in Montreal!

We only had a short time to look around Montreal, and spending it with Simon was the best choice we could have made. We covered so many topics, the mind reels: Montreal food; Montreal history; Montreal swearing; wrestling; movie extras; video games... there were more but you get the idea. This was no ordinary tour! Simon is a font of knowledge with a wealth of experiences (for a young guy!), and I kind of want to book this tour in a year and see what he's up to now. It wasn't too much walking, or too much eating, and we learned how to order Montreal bagels like a local. Stellar experiences.

We ended up getting a private tour with Eric! He was fantastic! He was a retired professor and gave an incredibly fascinating tour! He was very informative on the history and the city. He gave us restaraunt suggestions around our hotel and gave us tips for the rest of our trip. All the food we tried was delicious. My husband and I picked the gnocchi as our all time favorite. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Montreal!

Our experience was amazing. This was our first ever trip to Montreal. We booked this tour thinking we would be doing it with a bunch of people but to our surprise it was a private tour. 😍 It was so beautiful to see Montreal through the eyes of a local that too a retired professor finding a new passion in his second innings Prof. Eric. He was amazing not only he took us on this delicious journey but also provided us with so much information about Montreal. And not to forget the special treatment skipping the line of delicious food. Honestly, we thoroughly enjoyed the tour and also company of Prof. Eric. He is just amazing. We were so stuffed by the end of the tour and had so much leftovers.
