This was the best day trip experience. We were celebrating our son's 12th birthday and we couldn't have asked for a better tour. Captain Kaha and all the crew were amazing. They taught us about the island, explained about the history and were able to answer any questions we had. They were great when handling the stingrays, sharks and explaining about the different fish. The island BBQ was amazing and we loved the vibe. Definitely a tour you need to do while on the island.

This experience was awesome! From the very start we had some music played live vibes were good from the start we got soo much more then we expected the value to this is unbeatable, great overall this is the best money spent!

Getting in the water was the best part. The sting rays and black tip sharks were so close.Lunch was also amazing.

Before discussing the negative issues on this excursion, I want to say that all the staff were great and did their utmost to make our day special. That said, the listing said 30 people max, and there were more than 60 on our boat. Worse, the listing specifically stated that snorkeling equipment was provided. Snorkeling was a big part of why we booked this tour, so you can imagine our disappointment when we were told there was only one mask per couple, and no snorkels. Eventually some snorkels were found, but they were of low quality, in poor condition, and filthy. We also had an equipment issue on the boat, so were an hour late getting back to the dock. Moorea and its lagoons are beautiful, despite these issues, but if we had known about the number of people and low quality of the snorkeling preparations we would have spent our short amount of time with another tour.

What a day! Beautiful views from the boat; sting ray & shark swimming & a fabulous lunch on a private beach area. What made it so fun and memorable was the crew/guides - lots of energy including live music & singing all day. The day so exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend for the experience!

Subpar Facilities

Guide was very good. Motu area subpar. Even drinking water was unavailable. Other tours had better facilities.

At first I wasn’t looking forward to a large group tour but they really pulled through. The guide was hilarious, knowledgeable and entertaining. We went to the motu first to let the other boats leave the ray/ shark sand bank. The guide took professional photos of individuals with the rays. At the beach motu, there was a great cooking demonstration, how to tie a sarong, dancing, and snorkeling. We laughed so much!!!! What a great day!!

The food, music and snorkeling were amazing on a small private island. Food that I did not think I liked were prepared deliciously. The mantas and sharks came within a few feet of shore. You really did not need gear. I enjoyed learning to make a flower lei for my hat. The only things were that I and one couple were the only people that spoke English out of 4 boats. Therefore there were little of explanations in English. However if you asked a question, it would be answered. Also, I booked this specific tour because I saw stairs instead of ladder. I think you have to ask for that specific boat. However, when I hurt my back climbing down the ladder everyone was quite helpful. The alcohol was free flowing . By the end of tour that was very evident with the music and dancing getting crazy, but quite wonderful to watch. I had a very good time.

Great experience and great tour. Breath taking views of moorea and the bays surrounding it. Our guide Ranui was awesome and very knowledgeable. The lunch included was delicious and swimming with the sting rays and sharks was awesome. There was however some miss communication, the viator admin told me that the tour did not provide pick up from moorea ferry, but the tour provider said otherwise. May need to update that info on viators side!

Excellent tour. Lots of snorkeling opportunities too. 2nd year in a row we took this tour and really enjoyed the time allocated to experience the snorkeling and food and Motu experience. Food included salads, breads, chicken, cooked and raw fish. Everything was fresh and very clean and neat. Well prepared for every taste.

Good trip, but too much time spent on the island where there was basically no beach and no where to walk. Food served was good. Swim with the sharks and rays was entertaining.

This was an amazing tour, we swam with sharks and stingrays for about an hour. We could touch them as the tour guides had feed for them. Then we had a typical Polynesian meal with a demo of various way to prepare fish, open coconuts for the milk. We really had a good time.

The tour was good but at the picnic the guide kept going into the woods to smoke ganja. He and some of the servers finally just started smoking it in front of the guests and they quit going into the woods. Their eyes were glossy and they were laughing ridiculously. They were very obviously high and as I said, they quit trying to hide it after about awhile.

Excellent trip. The scenery is absolutely amazing. The waters are pristine and one cannot describe the colours. The swim with the rays and sharks was a good experience. The crew on the boat were very friendly and kept us entertained. The beach lunch was good with a good variety of food. I enjoyed the BBQ'ed marlin steaks the most.

Talk about amazing, put it on your bucket list, the tour was well organised, once we made contact at the dock it all fell into place. Short bus ride to the boat and educated along the way about there cultures, places of worship, landmarks. Boat ride 40min to where we swam with sharks, rays and other sea life. Our guide made us feel very comfortable, had us laughing most of the time. Lunch, they put on a local feed and they picked my wife out of the crowd to help prepare the fresh salmon. The video pictures we have takin will remain with us for ever. We will be back with the rest of the family. Well done to the tour company, to the guide hope to see you again.

We are rating this tour as Amazing even though rain and wind was the weather of the day. We've all had to learn to take the weather as is, haven't we? We were taken to an area of sharks that are fed by tour operators and are harmless. What a thrill to be in the same water with them. There were also rays which were very large. A beach area is where a bar-b-que lunch was served. The area is not fancy but there is a covered area where they cook the meat chicken and fish and served salads, etc. They provided refreshments while waiting for the lunch to be served. Locals also provided their music all the while we were there. The owner of this particular business looked out for our comfort and helped in any way he could -- always aware. He was also the boat operator. We are sorry we didn't obtain his name. He had others helping also with the beach area. The only recommendation we would make is to have curtains on the sides of the boat for rainy windy days, like we had. The sun came out mid-afternoon!!
