Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s cancelled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Hugo was a great leader for the trip - he didn't talk the whole time and allowed us to enjoy the experience. We had a great surprise when he included the shark and stingray experience, it was awesome and the group was small so we were not left waiting for people.

We got more than we expected. Very professional. I was afraid that we will be tired and sore after, but I was wrong. Just good amount of paddling. We had three breaks, snorkeling at coral reef, break with fruit, cake and drink, and of course swimming with sharks and rays.

First seeing a young man open a coconut with just a stick was truly amazing. I thought just paddling in the little bay was great then we got to go out further and saw the rays and black tipped sharks! This was incredible and unforgettable!

The way to the first stop was a little challenging for me. I was paddling with my 6 year old son which made it a little more difficult for me to keep up. It was definitely a work out for my arms. However, the 2 stops were great. On the way back it was easier because we made a stop to swim with the sharks and the stingrays which was pretty amazing!

Had a great time kayaking and snorkeling with Black Tip Sharks! We met a couple who were vacationing independently and shared lots of Travel Stories - they gave us a ride back to our Cruise Ship, which saved another hour walk. Also the woman at the Pearl Shop across the Street had wonderful local stories.

We got lucky to be the only ones on our guided kayaking and snorkeling trip. Moana was an expert guide. He was funny and made everything look effortless. We enjoyed his stories about Moorea history and island life. We got to hear about the medicinal and other uses of all the plants and trees he showed us on the island. He brought delicious fruit punch, cake and fresh fruit. The highlight was swimming with the sting rays and black-tipped shark.

Transparent Kayaks Sound Good, but...

Overall, we had a nice time so I'm hesitant to tell anyone not to go. However, there are a few things I didn't expect. First, the listing indicates there is transportation available but there is none available. You need to take a taxi. Second, the transparent kayaks are very difficult to use. They have a metal bar across the bottom which causing a lot of drag and catches plant material, causing even more drag. Third, the kayaks are difficult to see through unless you have a bunch of water inside the kayak, but even then, the kayak is moving so much because of the water current that it's difficult to look down for very long. Lastly, read the fine print about the snorkel gear. It's not provided. We were given a mask and snorkel but no fins. The current was so strong it was difficult to snorkel without fins so, bring your own. We enjoyed the tour though. The sights were amazing. The water was very clear. We saw lots of fish, sharks and rays. It was quite an experience. The snack was tasty (brownies, papaya, rum punch) and Hugo was a very friendly guide.

For the transfers, we do not have a license. We can organize transfers, if the client requests it, in partnership with cabs, it is a paying service. The weather is very changeable, the wind can blow, the swell, the current....we do not control the weather.... We only have masks and snorkels, we have never had fins. Friendly and engaging guide. Highlights included watching our guide manually break open a coconut to give us the fresh fruit inside and wading in waist high shallows surrounded by tropical fish, rays and black tip reef sharks. A fun way to spend 2 hours!

We had such a wonderful time on the private couple's sunset kayaking experience. Our guide Moana was so friendly, genuine, and knowledgable about the island. We kayaked to one of the motus, ate delicious bananas and chocolate cakes homemade by our guide, and drank refreshing pineapple juice. Then Moana took us to an awesome snorkeling spot, where we got to snorkel with sharks and rays! Then we caught the sunset on the way back to the dock. It was so fun and a very memorable experience. Highly recommend. Thank you!!

Unexpectedly Fantastic Kayak Tour

This was an unexpectedly awesome experience. Kayaking is way more challenging than we thought it would be but it was a great workout. We had Hugo as our guide and he was fantastic. So fun and patient with us newbies and great with easing our nervousness interacting with the sting rays and sharks. He also brought us passion fruit (yum!) from his own garden and made us delicious rum cocktails to enjoy while we swam with the fish. The lagoon is clear and too beautiful for words. We did the private sunset tour and Hugo timed it perfectly so we’d be in an amazing spot to catch the sun going down. It was a great tour with a great guide. Thanks Hugo!

Incredible kayak trip , you have a tour guide who takes you around the lagoon , you stop at a snorkel spot, he feeds the fish ,we had 2 sharks and a number of large sting rays around us with lots of fish.. just a fabulous tour , we stopped at a small island on the way back and our guide had fresh muffins ,tropical juice and fresh coconut for us ... just the best tour in Moorea

A fun experience

Good exercise with Kayaking and great location for snorkeling, swim with sharks and rays. Tour guides were kind and considerate to help novice kayaker, elders and kids. Would be better if snorkeling gears provided are in better condition, water bottles are cleaner and towels are provided. For some reason my daughter's water shoes got lost (kayak was flipped over after they got off) so I hope customer's property could be taken better care of in the future. Sun exposure would be high, so be prepared.
