    Highly recommend! We came a bit late in the season, but we did get to see a mama and calf. Shoot for Aug/Sept if you want to increase your chances. Our guide and captain were fantastic and very respectful of the animals.

    Pick up and drop off at the hotel was seamless. Great communication throughout the experience and we were able to swim and see a whale and her calf. At the end of the trip we swam with sting rays and sharks. Wonderful tour operators and make the experience really fun.

    WOW — simply thrilling! We had an excellent captain and our guide, Maui, put us right in the middle of the action. His son (maybe 6?) was onboard and a joy to watch as he “helped”! A tremendous experience swimming with a 15-18 meter humpback mother and her calf in the beautiful waters of French Polynesia! Thank you Maui and crew for a memory of a lifetime!

    What an amazing adventure we had! A humpback whale and her calf swam right up to us and the calf was so playful and curious! Once in a lifetime experience! Maui and crew did an amazing job to make sure we all had the perfect day!

    The crew was incredible and we waited patiently for the right opportunity to observe these beautiful creatures. Our patience paid off and we saw a mother and her calf swimming right below us! Be prepared to do a good amount of swimming. Try not to kick too much with your fins, as the sound scares away the whales. Also, try not to kick your fellow travelers with your fins. One person kicked my mask off of my face creating an uncomfortable situation in the open ocean. Be considerate and you will be rewarded with an incredible experience.

    This was the highlight of our entire trip! The experience was absolutely incredible! Our group was able to swim with a mother whale and her calf. I could not believe how close we were able to get! Maui and the rest of the crew were kind, knowledgeable, and lots of fun! Maui was very clear about what we could expect when swimming in the open ocean. He not only made us feel very safe in what could be a frightening or overwhelming situation, but he was very respectful towards the whales as well. I cannot say enough good things about this experience! You will not regret booking it!

    Amazing! I can't believe how close to the whales we got. Awesome crew- friendly, helpful, and they knew exactly how to get us VERY close to the whales without disturbing them. Absolutely calling these guys next time we come here!

    Super excursions avec Maui et son capitaine. De «l’apprentissage et du plaisir. Et puis : mise à l’eau avec une baleine à bosse, parmi les expériences plus puissantes de ma vie ! Puis requins, raies et tortues ! Allez y les yeux fermés, j’espère y retourner !
