What To Expect

Meet your guide at the port of either Naples or Sorrento and board a hydrofoil boat to reach Capri. Disembark in Capri's main port and, weather permitting, hop into a small boat in order to see the Blue Grotto. Admire the glowing blue water of this sea cave, known as the Grotta Azzurra in Italian, that is large inside but has a very narrow opening through which only small boats can pass.

Travel with your guide to Anacapri by way of some less-traveled roads – including the so-called 'Mamma Mia Road' full of switchbacks. Have your camera ready to capture the views from this cliffside road.

Take a 10-minute ride on the chairlift to Monte Solaro from Anacapri to enjoy stunning views over the whole island from its highest point. Look for Mt Vesuvius and the islands of Ischia and Procida in the distance.

Visit Anacapri's Villa San Michele, a former private home with verdant gardens built for a Swedish writer and doctor. Wander the gardens to see ancient artifacts alongside flowers and lemon trees. Continue to La Piazzetta, also known as Chiazza, a square lined with boutiques and cafes.

Finish your tour with a visit to Augustus Gardens, the former home of an early 20th-century German steel manufacturer called Friedrich Alfred Krupp. Enjoy a visit to the gorgeous gardens on the estate, which are open to the public, to get a view of Capri's famous rock formations known as I Faraglioni. Take advantage of some free time after the garden visit to explore on your own before heading back to the mainland.

Such a great way to see Capri

Felt like we had Capri to ourselves. Our guide Miguel was friendly, informative and knew Capri like the back of his hand. He took us to the main spots on the island, and since the weather didn't allow for us to go on the chair lifts or Blue Grotto, he took us to Axel Munthe's villa instead, and then recommended the best spot on the boat that went round the island. Also took us to a good restaurant with the best fresh food.

Our family had a terrific day in Capri! Ben was a wonderful tour guide and we felt lucky to see as much as we did in one day. Capri is beautiful and our Sky Ride and Boat Ride were some of the high points of our entire vacation. Ben had us organized and safely maneuvered our family of six throughout the entire day. My family was so proud I booked such an awesome tour for them! Our memories and pictures are treasures! We would highly recommend this tour!

This was the perfect way for our family of four to see Capri, Blue Grotto and Anacapri all in one day! Our tour guide Luigi was fantastic! He had everything timed perfectly so we could cover as much ground as possible! He was very knowledgeable of the area and made great recommendations for restaurants and shopping. He was flexible and very attentive to our family to make sure we got what we wanted out of the day. We would highly recommend this tour and because we were not part of a big group, I believe we maximized our time for that day . We would definitely do this tour again, well worth the money.

My husband and I were meeting his sister and parents in Naples for 3 days over Thanksgiving and I was put in charge of arranging tours. Even though this one was quite pricey, I booked it anyway as Capri was on all of our bucket lists and it had very good reviews. We were not disappointed! Michael was a very efficient, friendly, flexible, and knowledgeable tour guide. Due to less than stellar weather the night before, the ferry ride was a bit choppy and the blue grotto was closed. Nevertheless, we got a wonderful boat tour around the island, a convertible taxi ride up the winding roads, a lovely chairlift to the top point of the island for a 360 degree view, a nice lunch, a lovely walking tour of the main town, and a funicular ride back to the ferry. We packed a lot in but never felt rushed. Seeing Capri in the off-season was wonderful. The streets were not particularly crowded, the temperature was mild, and it was absolutely stunning. My father-in-law said it may have been the best tour he had ever been on (and he's been on a lot!)

We had a fantastic time with Luigi on our private boat tour with him. We met him at the Serrento port and he took care of us each step of the way - getting us tickets, telling us where to wait, getting us to the front of the line, treating us to the chair lift. Introducing us to local store owners with special discounts. If I had any complaints, it would be that we really didn't have enough time on Capri and also the weather didn't cooperate with us seeing the blue grotto. We were able to go on a boat cruise around Capri which was also very beautiful. Luigi escorted us but also left us to our own at different place allowing us to do our own things. This is definitely a worthwhile tour.

Our Naples private tour with Paolo was amazing!! Paolo, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. It felt like we were friends for years. Paolo was very friendly and connected well to both the adults and our kids. I would highly recommend Paolo. Taking a private tour through Capri was the best thing we could have done. Paolo was very organized and precise with timing. The only way to see all of Capri is through a tour. Paolo was well connected to the people there which made moving around a lot easier. We will never forget our time spent in Capri!!

It's a nice tour! The tour guide was amazing, she knows her job and tried to arrange the best for us! ( forgot her name tho) If you got only 1 day to visit the island and don't wanna spend time to buy tickets or looking for transportation at the last minute, it's a good choice to join this tour!

Our family of four took this tour on 29 June, and our tour guide was Giovanni Johnny. He met us at the Sorrento harbor and guided us onto the boat to Capri. Because the blue grotto was closed that day he got us on to the ski lift to the top of Capri at no extra charge. He knew many interesting facts about Capri and he helped us with photos and was able to give us free time for lunch and to explore a little on our own. The weather was great that day and Capri was beautiful. Giovanni was an excellent guide and we were very lucky to have him.

Our guide Luigi was extremely knowledgeable and was able to arrange our day so we avoided most of the crowds. The tour was one of the highlights of our trip. We especially enjoyed the restaurant Luigi recommended for lunch. It was very authentic with beautiful views and delicious recipes made with local ingredients, many grown right on the restaurant grounds. I also loved being able to take home carthusia perfume and custom made capri sandals made on the island. It was a very special day.

Visited Capri yesterday and had a wonderful time. Saw the blue grotto, amazing sites including Mama Mia road and Augustus Gardens. Really enjoyed ice cream and freshly made waffle. Shops were great and the guide was excellent, the restaurant was really friendly and had super food. Really enjoyed everything being organised for us which made the day really pleasant. Weather was cool and we did not get up chair lift due to clouds. Would definitely recommend this trip to everyone.
