Isabella was a wonderful guide. She was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and clearly loves the city. It was a good pace, with plenty of info on the food and surrounding. She also made some recommendations for the rest of our trip. The food was all excellent. No need to stop for dinner after!

Great street food tour in...
Jessica_W, June 2023
Great street food tour in Naples. Good for all ages, huge variety of food and we left completely stuffed.
Not just a food experience, a cultural one too!
Lydia_L, June 2023
Daniella, our guide, was wonderful— a fount of information! We had delicious street food, a lot of it, and she gave us all the cultural information surrounding it and more! Absolutely loved this tour!
A wonderful day in Naples
Syed_A, June 2023
This tour is outstanding. Our guide Alex was wonderful. His narration and guidance during the tour brought to front the life in Naples. You get to see the inner part of Naples that you can never see from driving only.
Brilliant experience in Naples
Susan_B, June 2023
The guide Alex (Alessandro) was brilliant, very knowledgeable, interesting ,and made the tour fun ,from start to finish .the street food was delicious, no need for lunch after ! An excursion well worth doing in a vibrant city like Naples ,which is so vast .Well worth the money .
Not worth it, just do a nice dinner on own
Sandy_S, May 2023
Not worth the money. Our guide was nice, but not a well planned event. I have been to many food tours that have been so much fun! We seriously went to dinner after the event. They took us to a small pizza place that was crowded as they did 2 tours together, the owners would not let my family sit together because of space! It was so odd, and it was the worst meal we had in Italy. You rush I and out, and you can’t even order a drink. Seriously, not one chance to get a drink on the tour. It was disappointing all around.
Great food experience!
nicole_b, May 2023
Isabella was a wonderful guide who was incredibly understanding and kind when we were a little late. She took us to a bunch of places that were small but made such good food! We never would have found those places on our own. She gave a lot of background information to the food we were eating which gave us a better appreciation for it. Myself and my husband would do any tour that Isabella leads!
Excellent tour and food

Awkward
Nadia_K, May 2023
The tour was a bit awkward. The food selections could have been better. I am sure our tour guide is very lovely but it just was not a super enjoyable experience
Excellent!!
Nicholas_C, May 2023
Alex was an excellent tour guide! His knowledge of the city and the history really made the experience memorable. The food was delicious as well!!
Excellent food, excellent tour!
Lindsay_B, May 2023
Our guide Alex was phenomenal. In additional to knowing the history of all the amazing food, he knew so much history about Naples and pointed out all kinds of interesting things along the way that had nothing to do with food! I really felt like I got a new perspective on Naples through his eyes; it's clear he loves his city and is the perfect guide for it. The food was fantastic (do not eat before this tour; you will get your money's worth of food for sure!) and the who experience was well worth it. I have already recommended it to every traveler I've met on their way to Naples.
This Naples food tour is excellent.
Cynthia_R, May 2023
Excellent tour, great food and history of Naples! The guide, Mario is very witty and engaging. That day was a bit crowded but Mario made sure everyone is tagging along fine, and all have enough food. The limoncello factory was also interesting. Great digestive after the heavy food tour!
Enjoyed every minute of it.
Fabio_N, May 2023
Daniela is a superb tour guide. Before the tour began she took the time to get to know each couple or individual in the group. The food was outstanding but the true gem of the tour is how Daniela kept the group entertained and filled with knowledge of the food and culture of Naples.
Yummy in Naples
Emer_L, May 2023
Fabulous experience, our guide Alex was amazing at bringing the local history to life through stories. Food was delicious. Well paced. Definitely recommend it.
Group too big
Mitch_G, May 2023
We liked everything about it. The guide was good. He pointed out some historical facts that were interesting along the way, but they canceled on us and made us change days....it was hard to hear him and the group is too big. I recommend not to take this tour unless its 10 people or less. 20 people is way too many.
Must Read Advice for this tour
John_L, May 2023
Don’t worry. When you arrive and see the statue look down into the pit next to it. There is an open in-ground area. Look down! See the cement channels. That is the Greek Ruins. Wait in front of the cafe areas near the pit and the building. Looking at stature from main road it’s on the right side of ruins. Next BRING A BOTTLED WATER or soda for the tour. Local shops cannot always make change and drinks are not included. Now the tour is EXCELLENT! Expect a real experience waking through the crowded city streets and eating at shops like a local. Marco was an excellent guide. Very warm, friendly and took an interest. Also huge bonus points because he brought a load speaker and held up umbrella as he walked. Very thoughtful guide. Buy a bracelet or small bobble at the first stand when he explains what the peppers/horns are. If you don’t you will find shops after the tour are more expensive specially near cruise port. Don’t worry if the first antipasto goes quick. Just ask him if you get to the plate late and some items are gone. He will ask for more to make sure you get a taste. Next, the pizza will fill you and we shared a slice. As it was a lot to get. Remember that water before you go you will thank me. Couples at the last stop you choose between coffee product or gelato. I had coffee and my GF had gelato. There was enough gelato for both of us to share and you can ask for 2 flavors stacked. If you do not want strong espresso as for an Americano. With or without milk/ 10%. At the end, we walked back to the Cruise port. Far under 1 mile/kilo. Put Galleria Umberto in map/GPS for a stop on the way to have a rest area with cold Italian ice or drink on the way back. Pier is easy to find from there on GPS. We felt at home and loved this tour. We thought Marco was fantastic. We were a bit annoyed with late people and people who dragged along but that’s on the tour guests not the guide. He went out of his way to make sure all were tended to and watched. We love real street food experiences and started these types of tour in Asia so we valued this Naples Tour offered by Viator. I recommend you tip at least 10-20 Euro. Guides like Marco work really hard to accommodate and many don’t tip for his diligent efforts. BTW. Bring smaller bulls and change. It’s very hard to get ships to break bills. We bought gifts for relatives and shopped a lot at a local store making them more than happy to break a large bill. If you shop at a store buying enough for them to make a living they will make change. Last few notes. Ask for a napkin or grab a few at first stops so you have them. Trash cans are seldom so I carry trash til I find them. There most likely at the squares, city centers and. Attractions along the route. Lastly, I wore shorts at short and a light rain coat which got a little hot but was necessary for overcast. Look for awnings to stand under and lookout above. Those drips are not always rain. Many live in apartments above the wall and hang clothes to dry which drip overhead. Do Not Forget a bottled drink. If you are in a cruise bring an empty sports bottle and fill at buffet with ice water or lemonade. Last note. Stay close to the guide. It can get crowded and he turns. Ours held up his umbrella and always here’s life’s strays but some in our group really challenged his efforts being late and making him work harder then was necessary. He handled it like a pro though. Safety tips. These areas are generally safe and it’s a daylight tour. But we wear hidden pouches along our waist under clothing. We carry only a few smaller bills/coins on pockets that zip shut high on clothing/rain coats. We do not pull our cell phone late out a lot and hold them up. However this is more for walking on your own after the tour. The tour area is safe and the only real issue is keeping close to the guide and watching his lead as people pass through your group. Our guide was slow and methodical which helped but we had 4 guest that seemed to always stray and straggle which made him have to really work. Last note. Take a screen shot or photo of your tour ticket or print a page. Not really required. They have you name from booking and they check it. Lastly, they do include a lot of historical notes and helpful advice about the tour and walking after. Just ask anything you need. Do k no it fill up on breakfast as they have a lot of carbs on the tour. Cruise people beware the taxis service will refuse you unless your 6-8 people. The ones near port want $20 Euro to take you less than 1 mile. But we were running late. It’s a bit to walk 0.9 miles if you do not have time. Aim for a tax outside the port area to save money. But remember tourists pay a premium for convenience. Sometimes we pay and just figure it’s the accommodation over price. I hope this helped you all and made you want to experience this your. I would do it again and I would say it’s a slice of life for people here which is why we travel to see how others live. I wish you success in your trip!
AMAZING!
Monica_L, May 2023
We had a great time! Marco is an EXCELLENT GUIDE with a lot of knowledge of history and food. Sadly we had to leave the tour after a short while due to one person in our party getting sick (not related to the tour!). Marco stepped up and helped us get a taxi so we made it back safe and sound. I would absolutely recommend this food tour to anyone interested in local food and history. We will definitely join this tour again when we come back to Naples the next time! Absolutely worth every penny!
So much food@
Dale_N, May 2023
Our guide was the best!!! Fun, knowledgeable and energetic. Come really, really hungry, because I could eat everything!
This was so worth it....
Ann_H, May 2023
This was so worth it. Danielle was fabulous. We got to try food we never would have and saw a lot more of the streets of Naples
You won't be hungry after this tour.
Laura_M, May 2023
This was a fantastic food tour. if you book this tour DO NOT eat anything beforehand as the amount of food you get is unreal. My fave was the fried pizza 🍕
Not for everyone
June_K, May 2023
tour leader was considerate and well informed. the mozzarella tasting was great and diverse, as was the limoncello. the rest was very similar type food- buccatini and pizza and fried calazone with ricotta all was very authentic but not very good tasting. Perhaps more food like olive tasting or olive oil tasting? there were too many desserts tastings and this tour was at 6:30pm. polpo al la luciano is excellent food to diversify their tasting menu
