What To Expect

Climb aboard one of the open-air double-decker buses for an unforgettable introduction to Naples on a hop-on hop-off tour.

There are three routes to discover — Line A (The Art Tour), Line B (Naples Bay), and Line C (San Martino) — with 32 strategically placed stops in total between them. An entire loop on any one route takes about 75 minutes, and all three tours stop at Piazza Municipio, so it’s easy to switch from one to the other.

Tickets are valid for 24 hours starting with the first use, and you can get on and off the bus as many times as you like during that period. Listen to interesting commentary about the city’s history and the things you’re seeing along the way. Explore Naples at your own pace.

Great for when you have limited time

The bus tour did not start on time. We waited in the sweltering heat for 20 minutes. The tour was advertised to last an hour but we were done in 40 minutes. It was not as interesting as I hoped.

Easy and quick way to see all of Naples

We selected this tour to avoid walking all around town all day. We also wanted to visit some of the hilltops of Naples without the transportation costs. It was an easy walk from the train station to one of the stops and we "hopped" right on with our tickets from my phone. The bottom portion of the bus was air-conditioned, but the real fun was sitting on the TOP of the bus watching everything pass by as you listen to the recorded narration of Naples and all of the sights to see. The best part of this tour is also the fact that you can "hop" off anytime at any stop you wish to explore on foot - then "hop" back on when you are ready, once the bus comes to your stop. The guides were super professional and fun. They even gave some great restaurant recommendations since they are local to the area. I felt like this was organized - and since there are two loops - you can definitely use this as a guided tour of Naples in a way. As they organize and schedule the buses in a way when you "hop" off of one loop - you can transfer to the other bus to take the other loop.

No problems with any aspect of City Sightseeing. The Blue (coastal) Route gives some nice views of the Gulf of Naples (Vesuvius in the distance). Red (City) Route is uninspiring. Naples is what it is and the tours give you the chance to get an overview.
