Luigi our guide was fabulous! He helped us explore, gave us much local and historical information, got us through all the lines and helped us make good decisions on what to do when. Highlights of the tour: Blue Grotto (although it’s a quick in and out), Chairlift to the top of Capri and the boat tour around the island! We named him the King of Capri and we were his loyal and joyful followers! Fantastico! Ask for Luigi!

Our tour was a success because of Vitale, our guide. He was informative, personable and fun, and extremely organized. The latter was crucial because he expertly got us around most of the crowds and lines. And his English was excellent. A fine young man and a great guide.

What an awesome experience! Getting to see Capri, Anacapri and the Blue Grotto all in one day was awesome. Michele was outstanding, there was absolutely no way we could have done these things on our own. He knew how to get through the crowds quickly so that we had a smooth experience. We were able to get to the Blue Grotto by ( convertible)car soon after arriving in Capri And therefore had only a short wait in line. It was absolutely worth it, phenomenal!!! Anacapri and Capri were both beautiful and the chairlift afforded stunning views from the top of the island. We also had lunch and some time to shop. It was a fabulous day, thank you Michele!

María, our guide, organised for us to head early to Capri to beat the crowds. We were very appreciative of this and were some of the early ones to do the Blue Grotto which was amazing ! Maria is a fabulous guide, she gave us lots of information but in a fun and friendly manner. We had a great day!

This was a treat to ourselves (myself and my Dad) as we really wanted to see Capri but didn't fancy all the workings out and rushing from place to place in the hot sun so we booked this instead and it was worth every penny!! We were met at Sorrento Harbour by Mariano, who was so friendly, approachable and informative, we were immediately put at ease and had some wonderful conversations with him throughout the day. The biggest plus was that Mariano knew how busy it would be on Capri and worked all the time to ensure we were in the right place at the right time to avoid the crush and he was fabulous, we did the blue grotto first, no queue, then chairlift, again no queue (massive queues as we were leaving tho!) then to Capri centre, the gardens and a wonderful place for lunch which was fabulous, very reasonable and we would never have found it on our own. Mariano also navigated us through the crush for the funicular back down to the boat. The day was brilliant, so much easier and we did everything on our list with zero hassle. Highly recommend both the trip and Mariano!

Fun Day on Capri

Our outstanding tour guide, Laura, was waiting for us at the docks. We spent the day under her guidance and had a wonderful time. On arrival to Capri, we headed to the Blue Grotto where we beat the crowds and then went to the chair lift where we were also ahead of the masses. Then we shopped, had a lovely lunch, then took a cruise tour of the island. Upon our return to Naples, we all hugged good by and hoped to meet again someday. It was a most amazing day!

Fantastic tour! Sure, you could save some money with a group tour. But our private tour guide, Giorgio, new all the tricks to save time and see the best sights. Giorgio is a native Caprese and knows the island well. Even the restaurant he suggested had great food and was not overwhelmed with large groups of tourists.

Paola, our guide and local resident was wonderful. But she had to follow the trip's design, which I don't think was clear in the description. That description also made it sound like we'd be in the convertible taxi most of the day, but it was only for a couple of short transfers. This day trip felt rushed as soon as we were done with the Blue Grotto. There was not a calm and relaxed tour of the island. It did not show off all the greatness of the island. I think they could slow it down to make it more enjoyable even if that means not seeing all the tourist attractions. It was nice that we had our guide from beginning to end and she seemed knowledgeable of the island. She knew how to get around and adjust so we were not standing in long lines.

Perfect day! Tiziana was an amazing guide. She was easy to find in the port of Naples and was warm and friendly from the first moment. She guided us to the ferry and came to get us as we neared Capri so we could disembark the ferry quickly to beat the crowds. She showed us to our waiting convertible taxi for the breathtaking ride to Anacapri and the blue grotto. We were so lucky that the blue grotto was open, and we were one of the first to arrive to see it that day! The line was huge by the time we were leaving. The experience in the grotto was so beautiful and Tiziana took extra photos and videos for us. We then went to Anacapri for shopping, the chairlift ride, and lunch. Later, we got back into our waiting convertible for another beautiful ride to Capri for more sightseeing and shopping, then the funicular ride back down to the ferry, and were back well before our ship’s departure. There was no way we could have done and seen everything we did without Tiziana’s expert guidance to make sure we used our time efficiently, and she made the day fun and interesting all along the way. If you would like to see the best Capri has to offer, you his is your tour. Ask for Tiziana!!

Tiziana was a great guide! The tour was also very well organized. When we got off the ferry, a large convertible taxi was waiting for us and took us to the Blue Grotto. We were the first in line and did not wait at all. Same was true for the chair lift experience and all other activities. We could have never seen all the highlights on Capri without our private guide. Thank you Tiziana!

We loved our guide LUIGI he was kind and and patient, however due to a threat of severe Thunderstorms, we were not able to do the Blue Grotto, the boat ride or the chair lift. And sadly, VIATOR only refunded a small portion of our trip. In the future, I would definitely bypass VIATOR and work directly with a local tour guide.

Our tour guide was prompt and prepared. He knew we had to beat the crowds and we did exactly that. We only had to wait 5 minutes for blue grotto and when we’re we’re don’t the line was at least an hour long. Our guide gave us free time and I never felt rushed. He was very aware of the best time to go on the chairlift because there were some clouds rolling over. He was insightful and made sure we did everything that was included on the list. The convertible car was SO cute. Highly recommend 100/10

Alberto was EXCELLENT! We didn’t wait on a single line and he was so knowledgeable and personable and lovely. Capri was astonishingly beautiful but this private tour was worth every single penny. I couldn’t say more positive things about the tour itself and our amazing guide. Alberto did such a great job and he clearly knew so many locals on the island and was always greeted with such joy from everyone. My spouse is not easy to please and they enjoyed every second. It was beautiful. Book this!
