A great experience!!
Miriam_J, Feb 2023
We had a great time! Nino, our tour guide, was great. She is very nice and knowledgeable. She is a local so she knows and share with us about the town and history of Japan. She was able to provide an itinerary that met our needs! The local eel restaurant that she recommended was awesome. The fresh eel was sooooo good that even my little boy enjoyed it! We offered Nino to dine with us so she could share with us more about Japan! Overall, it was a great experience for us!!
5 Gold Stars for Service

This review is 100% customer service as we did not complete the trip and about the integrity and communication with the company and Narito our guide. We had a 12 hour layout from our return home trip from Vietnam to the US so we booked the tour. I asked what we needed to get out of the airport since we had no visa and they advised all I needed was a confirmed ticket leaving that day (I believe) and we could get out. I confirmed with the guide that was for sure all we needed and was told yes it wasn’t a problem. Once we landed we were told we could not exit without a vaccine card and at least 3 shots or a negative Covid test. Of our family not all 6 of us had 3 vaccine shots only 2 did, so they needed negative test within 72 hours but there was no testing in terminal. So I communicated that with the operator and guide and requested a refund as we could not now get out of the terminal. The operator processed the refund request as asked but we were bummed as we looked forward to this to end our family trip and get out and stretch our legs and see a small slice of Japan. I’m sure the trip would have matched the service provided and them some.
Outstanding tour for a long layover at Narita Airport

We had a 12 hour layover at Narita while traveling from Hanoi to Boston. This was the perfect way to break up the time while seeing a beautiful part of Japan. Our wonderful guide, Nino, met us at the airport, guided us through the train station (at the airport) for an easy 7 minute ride into Narita. We then walked through the old part of tour while she explained the different shops and the products they were selling, including sampling several local specialties. Then a tour of a large Buddhist / Shinto temple complex including a blessing ceremony by the monks accompanied by large drums. It was most impressive. This was followed by a walk through a large Japanese garden. Then back to the train for the ride back to the airport. We highly recommend Nino. She is organized, knowledgeable, friendly and flexible. We couldn't have had a better time. The other option for a tour would have been a long train to Tokyo with rushed time in a mega city while trying to get back to the airport for the next flight. Our choice was stress free, informative and, frankly, fun. Thank you Nino-san.
Japan Wonder Travel provided a...

Japan Wonder Travel provided a wonderful private tour of Narita during a long layover in Tokyo. Noriko was guide and she was on-time at the arrival airport and much appreciated returned with me to the airport very helpful as I was a little tired from traveling and not thinking at my highest level of functioning. It was wonderful to see the traditional and buddhist temple sites and gardens in this beautiful temple city. I enjoyed visiting local shops and experiencing some local traditional foods along the route, as well as riding the local subway. I highly recommend Japan Wonder Travel for those with limited time in Japan between flights who want to get an up close experience of the local culture.
