  • Arrive 20 minutes before your tour time and redeem your voucher at our Visitor Service desk. They will direct you to your tour.

  • The grounds are wheelchair accessible and the first floor of the Mansion is also wheelchair accessible with a ramp to the side porch. Please bring your own wheelchair, walker, cane, or scooter to ensure your comfort. There is an elevator that provides service between the lower and upper levels of the Visitor Center.
  • We suggest a minimum of 2 hours on site for the guided tour, complimentary wine tasting, and self-guided tour of Grounds, Outbuildings and Shopping. If you are on the last tour of the day please plan to see the grounds prior to your tour. Grounds and Outbuildings are locked at 5pm.
  • Most travellers can participate
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 25 travellers

Beautiful home and grounds. It was a lovely day to visit such a grand dame of houses! Enjoyed the tour immensely and ending it with wine sampling was the cherry on the top. Have to add this, for those with physical impairments, you will be limited to only the first floor. However, they provided us with a pamphlet with pictures. Otherwise, it is reasonably accessible.

Wow! What a wonderful experience. I enjoyed Belle Meade more than I even anticipated. Our guide (maybe Kelly?) was phenomenal. I really enjoyed the vast amount of history that tied into the mansion to include all of its famous guests. The wine tasting after was quick and there were 4 flavors you got to try. I would definitely recommend stopping by.

Samuel was our tour guide through the mansion and he was absolutely amazing! Between the hilarious quips and dad jokes to the vast amount of knowledge he had to answer all the questions and little gems of information. 10/10 stars and if you’re thinking about skipping the wine tasting…don’t! They’re pretty spectacular!!
