Best experience ever!!! I did lots of research about rastasafari and i made the decision to book it with Viator. Everything was perfect from the begin to the end, I and my girlfriend were so happy and enjoyed every second of it. Thank you so much to all the people the driver the guide.. for made that day unforgettable. If you are looking for an experience to visit an old village with lovely animals and people, enjoy the nature the fruits the food and a nice drive with the atv you must go!! Five stars 🌟

No words to describe this. They are super organized, they are professional, and the experience is 10/10 Thank you!
Fun, but needs more riding
Direk_K, Aug 2023
Mostly fun but sorta pricey for what you get, wanted to ride more but it's a small loop with frequent stops during which you're hit up to spend $ on food, goods, services, tips, etc. Watched one of the machines lock up entirely mid-ride, they got a replacement out in 20 min so good on them for that 4/5. Lunch was ok 3/5, pot farm wasn't really a full farm, just a couple dozen breeding samples, clones and seedlings 2/5. The bus driver was quiet unless asked questions, he could offer up a bit more local commentary 2/5. Bathrooms were nice, very clean but needed lighting 4/5. New gift shop building was going up when we were there. The guides were all very cool and some had a lot of great info to share 4/5. I probably wouldn't do this one again unless changes were made (more riding!), but I would recommend if you've never done it and have the desire to get away from the beach for a bit and up into the mountains, learn a little and meet locals while bombing around on ATV's for a couple hours. Overall, 4/5.
Great experience

Best half day out in Jamaica
Michael_W, Aug 2023
Authentic tour run by local people. Every one was professional. courteous and knowledgeable Our guides Carlos and Nick were great and gave me an insight into Jamaican life. I would urge people to book this excursion as it is a lot of fun and educational. Probably the best excursion I have been on.
If you take one tour, make it this one!

This was such a fun and rewarding experience. I recommend it to anyone visiting Negril. Our guides were all lovely and engaging and we learned so much about the Rastafarian culture and way of life. It couldn’t have been more enjoyable. One love!
Adventure Through The Heart of Rural Jamaica
Lauren_H, July 2023
If you’re looking for community, culture, awareness and adventure, this experience is for you. We loved our RastaSafari journey through 300 acres of rural Jamaica and relished in every stop along the way.
Our guides, Lee and Leroy, were knowledgeable and kind–making us feel welcome to soak in the local surroundings.
This was an eye-opening look at Jamaica’s history and how people with very little have cultivated a community with heart that offers so much. I was grateful for our 8 year old son to experience the culture, which is worlds away from the everyday noise of our daily lives.
The Ital dish served at the end was a wholesome and filling end to the day.
I've seen some reviews talking about how pricey this excursion is, and while it's not cheap, it's comparable to almost all excursions in Jamaica--and offers so much more than a fleeting memory that disappears when the moment is over. If you want to save money, just pass on the chicken/rum punch at the stop before the Ganja tour and enjoy the meal that's provided.
PS our driver, Mr. Cousins, was an absolute DELIGHT.
A definite highlight of our Jamaica trip!

This was truly an experience that is highly recommended. A few pieces of advice...1) bring some Tevas or Keens so that you have shoes you can wear into the water as it was very rocky and hard on your feet. You don't need tennis shoes for the day. 2) definitely get into the roaring river, a true highlight, so bring a towel. 3) pay close attention to the terrific history lessons you get from your tour guides & ask plenty of questions. Have Fun!!
Best Day Ever in Jamaica
Bev_B, July 2023
I would say the whole experience from beginning to end. This was the best day because we saw area’s regular travelers wouldn’t. We met locals and they were so nice and have local cooled meal that was very tasting. This tour is a must see for everyone looking for a fabulous educational and fun tour.
Loved it 😊

Carlos & Stiley
Jeremy_C, July 2023
The RastaSafari is worth the money. It was a nice break from resort life for a half day. Our guides, Carlos and Stiley, were very knowledgeable of the area. They picked and cut fresh mango, starfruit, and coconut for us to enjoy during the tour. The mineral pool/stream was cold but totally worth jumping in. (You gotta try jumping off the bridge!) Many photos opps along the way. Only part we skipped was “the plantation” which seemed to offend our guides, just not our thing. The lunch was meh, but still worth trying. Overall, a great experience!
AMAZING AND MUST DO
Shannon_F, July 2023
We had an amazing time with the best guide Gilbert who shared the culture of the village and mountains we toured. We had a great time talking with the locals.

The people; their culture; the history; the knowledge. Darron was excellent host with his knowledge of the plants, trees, how they are used presently. The culture meaning of the Jamaican flag and the Akee fruit. The rasta man who took us into the countryside and explained the history of the land; from slavery; sugar cane; farming and the caves was simply amazing. Carlos “the OG” explained the spiritual waters and the caves; introducing us to the local people. The ATV drive was a lifetime experience
Not only were my driving...
DONALD_M, July 2023
Not only were my driving skills tested, I enjoyed the several stops to view the scenery and to learn of the history of the area.
4th of July ride
Talisa_H, July 2023
We had an amazing ride through the mountains! The tour started with Alicia was our guide walking up to the main area. She educated us on various herbs and history. After coming uphill, we had Bobby as one of our tour guides for the 2nd half atv ride through the countryside. The jerk chicken we stopped for was delicious. Beware of sampling unless they say it comes with the trip. Everything has an up-sale…. Everything. Bring cash with you. The weed farm was more like a small plant nursery but still enjoyable. It came with 2 shots of herbs that were pretty tasty. We had our own weed so they didn’t volunteer any joints to us (eh). Overall 9/10 definitely try it out!
Great tour
James_W, July 2023
It was a great way to see the water and experience nature. The lunch option is vegan so it is vegan meat but well flavorful. The woman they stop you by for jerk chicken charged us $15 for a chicken breast. Their excuse was “they are trying to recover from covid”. So are we in the USA but charging us that amount because they feel like we have money is outrageous.
Response from Host, July 2023
So if it was too expensive why you just didn't buy it my friend? As i am pretty sure nobody forced you to buy any. I think it is pretty rough on your part to take out 2 stars of the review because of that.
Wonderful Time!
Monique_D, July 2023
This is one of the most memorable experiences I've had in a long time...I really enjoyed myself and everyone I met on the tour was amazing. Junior I can't say enough about him he's the best!!
