What To Expect

Learn to eat like a local on this fantastic, filling, half-day tour of Brooklyn’s trendsetting dining scene. Make your way to Manhattan’s West Village, where you’ll meet your local foodie guide and climb aboard a comfortable coach.

After crossing the Williamsburg Bridge, begin by exploring Brooklyn’s hippest, hottest neighborhood. From acclaimed farm-to-table restaurants to third-wave coffee-roasting cafés, Williamsburg is a launching point for many popular culinary trends. It’s also home to many traditional ethnic enclaves, including an ultra-Orthodox Hasidic Jewish community and deep Italian roots, so you can get an authentic taste of Italy with Neapolitan pizza and a creamy cannoli.

Continue on to Greenpoint, Brooklyn’s traditionally Polish neighborhood, and pop in at a Polish restaurant to sample kielbasa and pierogis.

View the beautiful Prospect Park and have a big slice of Neapolitan Pizza in Park Slope for an authentic taste of Italy. Then explore the deep Italian roots of Carroll Gardens with a creamy cannoli. In the DUMBO neighborhood at the base of the Manhattan Bridge, take a digestion break with a short stroll to the newly refurbished Brooklyn Bridge Park, where you’ll want your camera to capture unbeatable views of the Manhattan skyline. Then indulge your sweet tooth with the famous Bonbons of the Jacques Torres chocolate factory. Your appetite sated, enjoy the urban views on the return drive to Greenwich Village, where your tour concludes.

Viewing Manhattan from the Brooklyn waterfront near the carousel. Bus very comfortable, glad to ride to various neighborhoods rather than walking long distances.
Good introduction to Brooklyn
Leonard_C, May 2023
Laurie was enthusiastic, well versed , and really into getting out tour group involved and immersed in Brooklyn. I enjoyed the various food selection that was offered. There was enough to eat that I did not have to have dinner that day. I highly recommend this tour if you are want an introduction to this fascinating borough of New York.

The tour guide was very well informed and very nice. I would recommend it. They give you just enough of each food to peak your interest but not so much that you are over stuffed.

The whole thing went very smoothly and Laurie the tour guide was great. All the food stops were very tasty and Laurie's commentary was interesting and very informative. It lasted about 4 and a half hours and after it we were dropped off so we could walk across the Brooklyn bridge.

Lori was an exceptional guide. She answered over and beyond all of our questions. She was knowledgable and fun. So enthusiastic about her city. The food tastings were perfectly chosen and incredibly delicious. For long time New York visitors, but first time Brooklyn exposure, it could not have been a better experience. Highly recommend!!!!

Wow, what an amazing tour! Make sure you come hungry, since you’ll be eating every 30 min or so! Laurie was our tour guide and she was absolutely fabulous. Definitely ask her for a recommendation on some Broadway shows. We got a great tour of Brooklyn and got to eat on the way; what more could you ask for?
Definitely worth it!!!

DON’T MISS THIS TOUR
Gary_S, July 2022
Our trip started with our tour guide Laurie having us introduce ourselves, which is uncomfortable for most, but ended up being the best ice breaker. By allowing us to learn a bit about each other, conversations started quickly and some of us even ended up having acquaintances in common. This was our first food tour, and it did not disappoint. We had a variety of foods as we ate our way through the neighborhoods of Brooklyn, from pierogis to pizza. Laurie was fantastic and gave us a great history of Brooklyn from its beginnings to today. Somehow sharing food with others seems more intimate and familial, and by the end we felt like we’d not just gone on a tour but made friends along the way. This tour was a great way to spend an afternoon…don’t miss it!
Great tour experience!
Laurel_L, July 2022
This was a great experience! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. The group size was perfect - not too large and not too small. The tour stops included a variety of different food options. I would definitely recommend this if you want to see Brooklyn and taste some unique foods.
