The tacos were fantastic. But the bao and halveh were disappointing. These could easily be replaced with some of the many other foods at the market.

We loved this tour & our tour guide was exceptional! He navigated the tour through Chelsea Market giving interesting historical information all while coordinating and highlighting all the different foods and restaurants inside. The High Line walk was equally as interesting. Would definitely recommend.

Our tour guide, Justin did a great job of explaining the history of Chelsea Market and the High Line to our group. The food selection was a little heavy toward sweets, which is not our preference. Nonetheless, Justin made the tour very enjoyable and interesting.

Yummy, informative walk through the market , then beautiful, historic walk on the high line. Only suggestion is that maybe would be better to walk first then end in the market. I would have liked to explore Chealsea market more than the shops at Hudson yards.

I really wanted to rate this tour better because our guide was really cool and nice, but it didn’t deliver what was promised. I expected to walk around the market and check out the food places, but we only spent a few minutes inside and then we were asked to find a seat outside and the guide just kept bringing us food. It was ok, but the tour description said we would explore the market and 80% of the time was spent outside. Also, the food selected for us wasn’t that great. There were a few stars like the tacos and ice cream, but the rest was just kinda meh with the hot chocolate being the worst (tasted like warm water) and the stale coconut bites being a very close second. The description said we’d have dumplings and an assortment of pastries but neither of those things showed up. We were also promised a hot sauce tasting at the beginning of th tour and that never happens. The pizza was only fine. Guide told us it would be the thicker Sicilian pizza but instead was given a small slice of regular NY style cheese pizza that wasn’t memorable at all. There were definitely way better options available at the market but we didn’t get them and we didn’t get any time to really explore to find them on our own. We went back the next day and spent far less than the tour cost us and had way better food. All in all I wouldn’t recommend the tour unfortunately. It just wasn’t worth th price.

Chris was friendly and informative. My Mom and I both enjoyed hearing the history of the market. If we were on our own, I think we probably would have tried 1 or 2 food items, this tour allowed us to trying a variety, and things I may not have tried on my own. As somebody who has never been to the market, it was a wonderful intro. Next time I go, I’ll know right where I want to try next.

Guide was informative. Excursion was not worth the money, food was very random and to be honest, we stopped at the empty stalls, rather than those we should have gone to. Can’t recommend. I guide book and do your own thing would be better!
