Worth the trip

Large bus tour with on board guide. Left on time with a mix of families, couples, both old and young. Guide was knowledgeable, informative, but a bit corny. Drove through several Manhattan areas including Chelsea, Meatpacking, then Dyker Heights (the crown jewel), Brooklyn for Manhattan skyline view, Washington Square and Rockefeller Center. Dyker heights was crowded and the group moved slow, but we were free to explore on our own as we had the departure time and location spelled out. Lights are ridiculously amazing and worth the trip. The tour bus will drop you off at the numbered cross streets as you make your way north on 5th (?) Ave. to Rockefeller, but you'll miss the famous tree. Otherwise, tour ends and you need to find your way back to your hotel (there is a subway station at Rockefeller, FWIW).

Best tour ever! Our tour guide Fred was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable about the history of Dyker Heights and New York in general. Had lots of good trivia and stories to tell. The Beautifully decorated homes are hard to capture in pictures. What an experience! Plus we hit all the nice points in the city. The time flew by. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

False advertisement Tour details said we would be stopping at ferry island point for city skyline and walking around Washington square and see that tree We only went to Dyker heights and came Back no other stops Which I saw were other tours which were cheaper and I picked this one because of the multiple spots which was more expensive Doubt I’ll get refund the difference But buyer beware

Would you please specify the date you took the tour? I'm afraid I have to disagree with your false characterization of our tour. We deliver the experience advertised and more. On the night in question, it was raining. We did the complete tour of DH and then made our regular rest stop at Brooklyn Bridge Park to use the restrooms and view the lower Manhattan Skyline. Unfortunately, because of rain and high winds, the stop was curtailed. We made our usual stop in Washington Square Park to view the Christmas Tree and WS Arch. I'm not exactly sure where you were at that point. As a sole proprietor, the quality of the tour is very important to me. I don't appreciate being accused of "false advertising" it is a derogatory claim with no basis in fact.

Completely got screwed

I had booked a trip with 4 of my friends for a small group. Paid for that. But we got shafted and put in a full size bus. Guide was rude. Didn’t know anything about famous houses. Didn’t explain things. i Saw so many guides talking about history of houses. He was more into telling us his history. Complete waste of fine and money. Not to say I that everyone on that bus paid way less Monday than I did.

Wonderful tour!! Loved all of the beautiful lights. Our guide was great -- so informative and helpful and fun. He even bought us pizza at the end at Juliano's since this was the last tour of the year. Yes, it was cold, but the lights were so beautiful that we put up with the cold. The van was a luxury van just like it was advertised.

Our tour guide, who was an older man that was originally from Manhattan, was about the rudest person Ive ever met. Before we ever got on the bus he was rude to one of the ladies in our group. My 26 yr old daughter and I booked this tour for 75/each which I thought was very expensive to see Christmas lights but we wanted to go. When we arrived at Dyker Heights within 10 min our guide had left us so we were left to tour ourselves all the while having paid 75/ea for a GUIDED TOUR. We were 5 min late getting to the bus because we got turned around seeing as we were our own guide and he had told the entire group that if we werent there in 10 min he was leaving us!! Seriously...leaving 2 women in BROOKLYN alone at night??? NO. I would never recommend this tour, ESPECIALLY with the guide we had. But the Christmas lights themselves were beautiful!

An outstanding tour, one not to be missed. Finding the tour guide was a little difficult at first. We had to walk around the corner of Maceys several times to locate him. We finally located him holding a NYSee sign not a viator sign as expected. Overall Fred our guide was the most knowledgeable guy we'd met in New York. Born and bred there he told us things you'd never find in books. The houses at Dyker Heights are absolutely amazing!! I wish we'd had more time to see the whole area, but there are too many beautifully decorated houses and insufficient time to photograph them all. It's a busy area so don't expect to get perfect pictures without bodies in the shot, if you do you're lucky. Our trip started at 19.00hrs which doesn't allow enough time at the Heights. The enroute stops allow you to take superb pictures of downtown Manhattan at night and Grenwich Village and so many other areas I lost count. In conclusion if you're going to New York after 28th November make sure you take this tour, and ask for Fred as your guide and Adrian as your driver, both superb guys.

Realmente é lindo demais. Só achei que é tudo muito rápido. Não dá tempo de parar e tirar uma foto. Apesar do guia falar que pode parar e depois achar ele, sempre ficamos com medo de nos perder. Poderia apenas ser mais devagar com tempo de parada nas principais casas para fotos.
