Dyker Heights is a unique neighbourhood at Christmas. Just lovely! Unfortunately there was a lot of traffic to get there, so it became a bit tiring.

Steve was a great tour guide on the drive through Manhattan! Lights were beautiful and so was the stop in Dumbo. this is not a tour for really young children (0-4) in this cold weather. One family on our tour had a little baby. it was too cold for them, and they wanted to go back, but the bus isn’t available during the tour. Also, lots of crying on the bus. Just not a pleasant time at night for a baby.

Pros: - More convenient way to get to Dyker Heights from Manhattan than navigating public transportation or paying high cab fare - Beautiful houses and displays in DH - DUMBO photo stop is a cool bonus other tours don’t seem to have - Our group leader (Sebastian) was nice and personable Cons: - Pickup wasn’t clear as it’s a spot where multiple tours are picking up, plus hotel guests coming and going - Dyker Heights was very crowded with tours, even on a Tuesday. This tour alone brought in 3 full buses. - The whole tour felt very rushed, even with only average weekday afternoon NYC traffic affecting drive time. We had ~45 minutes walking in DH and 10 minutes for photos at DUMBO stop. Could definitely benefit greatly from an extra 10-15 minutes at each.

The journey back was stunning to see the Manhattan skyline at night. The guide, Rafa gave us loads of info there and back which was really interesting. Loved the Dyker Heights neighbourhood and the beautiful homes.

The neighborhood was great; lights are fantastic and the stop at the base of the Brooklyn bridge was amazing. Be prepared for a 4 hour tour with at least 90 minutes on the bus in traffic. Tour guide and driver were great.

So disappointed. Very disorganized from the get go. We ended up on the wrong bus (bi-lingual), our tour guide didn’t speak hardly at all during the tour, we were basically ran thru the neighborhoods - if we wanted to stay with the group, it was basically impossible. Our tour guide was on his phone most of the walking tour. He got us through the neighborhood and back to meet the bus 15 minutes before the bus returned. By the time we got off the bus for DUMBO, he was long gone(and we weren’t even close to the last people off the bus). We had to take an UBER back to the city. I’m guessing this would have been much more enjoyable if we had a different tour guide but the streets of Dyker Heights are crazy and it’s easy to get separated.
