Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Chinese gangs and old Italian crime families. Our tour included a break stop at Ferrara Bakery where I purchased some great pignoli cookies and a visit to the old St. Patrick Basilica (beautiful stained glass windows). Great tour!

Blood alley in Chinatown was fascinating! The history is right there in the street and on the buildings. Same with little Italy. Walking through time is so much better when you know what you are looking at.

We enjoyed the late evening walk through Chinatown, Little Italy and the surrounding area. The stops along the way were nice to be able to grab a snack or drink.

As a history teacher, I really enjoyed walking through Little Italy and seeing the site of the Triangle Shirtwaist Fire. Also, walking through Washington Square Park and learning how it connected to both the gangsters and ghosts part of the tour was phenomenal.
