The doors to this annual holiday celebration at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church open at 10:15am, so feel free to come any time after that. The 1-hour-long festivities begin at 11am.

The Mt. Olivet Baptist Church has been a prominent place of worship in Harlem since 1878. The gospel choir of the church is directed by Craig Harris, a trombonist, composer, and longtime Harlem resident who has been a major figure in the music scene since 1976.

Belle expérience, bien que pas très authentique

Experience sympa, et bien content d'avoir pu trouver un Gospel en dehors d'un dimanche. Durée 1h Ceci dit, salle remplie à 100% avec des touristes comme nous et sono de moyenne qualité. Malgré tout, un des chanteurs a su mettre l'ambiance et emmener toute la salle. On a passé un très bon moment malgré tout.

Il y avait beaucoup de monde car c’était la période de Noël, la file d’attente était immense et nous avons raté le début (malgré l’intitulé « coupe-file »), mais c’était un moment magique à partager en famille, avec des amis, avec n’importe qui en fait!
