Great, informative, fun tour of NYC. We had a day in NYC due to a missed flight connection. Sheldon was able to accommodate us at the last minute, which we really appreciated. Our guide, Ryan, was excellent.

Sheldon was an increíble guide, squeezing a massive amount of sightseeing and storytelling into a 5 hour tour - but it felt completely effortless and fun. He plans for every detail and was so accommodating to my elderly father who was with us for the day. Highly highly recommend his service!

Sheldon did an amazing job on our first time to NYC tour. He took us to all the spots we wanted to see and had a ton of knowledge and facts to share with us along the way. I highly recommend him and will be using him again our next time back to NYC

Amazing- Sheldon was a wonderful tour guide. Our teenager sons really enjoyed the knowledge and history he brought to our tour. Looked out for all of our family members- very considerate. Driver was amazing too!

Enjoyed the tour especially seeing the Williamsburg area and the 9/11 museum. Sheldon was very knowledgeable of everything New York.
Wonderful tour, with as much walking as you would like. I use a cane and the tour was just enough walking for me.

We enjoyed our guide Marshall and driver Denis. Marshall was very knowledgeable and informative. His commentary on the 9-11 monument was very moving. It was raining when it was time for Joe’s pizza, so he ran in and brought it back to us in the car. I would gladly do the tour again

We were fortunate enough to have Hardy as our tour guide who completely catered the tour to the likings of my family. We were picked up from our hotel in a huge Sprinter van with a dedicated drive so it made jumping in and out of the car at different locations a breeze. While this might be more expensive than other tours, you get what you pay for, and they have the reviews to back it up. Don't hesitate to book this tour!

Sheldon has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the city, and we learned facts and heard stories I’m sure most New Yorkers don’t even know. He is funny and articulate and considers the group all the way from restroom stops, a slice of pizza to keep you going, to seeing the right sights he thinks everyone will enjoy. Travelling the city in a luxury SUV that magically seems to appear just when you need to jump in all around the city is a real treat. It was a rainy day we did the tour and this convenience was huge. Our driver was also really great, safe, knew the city and great personality. Fully recommend this tour. 5 star trip all the way!

Chris (tour guide) & Mike (driver) we’re great. Chris was very knowledgeable about everything NYC such as tv shows and history.The car was clean and Mike drove safely. Obviously you will not see everything in NYC but I strongly recommend letting your tour guide know what you would like to see ahead of time to make the tour better for your group.

The best part was ground zero. Our guide, Sheldon, not only was knowledgeable, but due to his personal involvement in the 9/11 events, he portrayed the events and explained to us the site from a completely personalised perspective.

My husband and I booked our Private Custom Tour of New York City by SUV. I specifically asked for Sheldon, because of the good reviews I read on here. He picked us up at our hotel and was right on time. We were in a large comfortable SUV (I’m not sure what type.) He introduced us to our driver (I believe his name is Rajesh). We started off at Grand Central Station with Sheldon giving us the entire fascinating history of it. That is what the entire day was like. We went to so many places and he is so extremely knowledgeable. His driver really knows how to get around the city. I felt completely secure and comfortable. We went through Greenwich Village and got a wonderful slice of Joe’s Pizza, crossed over into Brooklyn and really just saw too many places for me to even write about. His suggestions are excellent. The cookies he suggested from Levain’s are off the chart. If you don’t have things in mind that you want to do, I would recommend just letting him take you around. I only have 2 suggestions: Leave out the crude humor and no talking politics. If he takes those suggestions, one would have to call it a truly perfect day!
