  • This is a walking tour. While there are stops along the way, guests should be able to walk at a moderate pace without difficulty.
  • You are required to go through airport-style security on this tour. No luggage, weapons, or food (except for water in a clear container) is allowed. Confiscated items will not be returned.
  • Due to circumstances beyond our control, sites may occasionally close. We make every effort to stay as close to the advertised itinerary as possible but substitutions/omissions may be necessary.
  • Upon arrival at Liberty Island bags and backpacks must be stored in a locker.
  • This tour does not include access to the Statue of Liberty's Crown.
  • The tour meeting time is 15 minutes prior to the tour start time. No refunds or re-bookings can be provided for late arrivals or no-shows after tour commencement or departure.
  • Tips/gratuities (for your guide) are always appreciated.
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 25 travellers

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Great guide Cherie, knew her stuff and was pleasant and helpful! We got a history of both Liberty island and Ellis Island that was more than just informative! It was well worth the money as we had a lot of time in both locations!

(September 6th, 2023 at 11am tour) Rob our tour guide gave us more history in this tour than we expected! Met up and checked in. All we did was follow Rob and enjoyed the tour. There was about 15 of us. We had so much fun. He has been doing this for several years. He made the tour very informative and balanced with time and and fun. The pace was good and he got the group to participate with questions. Bring a canteen and sandwich if you don’t want to spend money. Would have brought an umbrella and cooling towels. It was pretty hot at 97 degrees. There are bathrooms on the ferry and you can buy drinks and snacks. Rob was generous to take a single photo for us in front of the Statue of Liberty. On Ellis Island we ate at the cafe and refilled our canteens. We were able to explore on our own after Rob gave the last of his tour. We finished around 4pm. Don’t forget to tip as well!

Rob was a fabulous tour guide! He has all the little tips to maximize your sights and experience. His narrative is engaging and lively. My son was 5 when we first had this tour. He wanted to come back he liked it so much and we were lucky to be matched with Rob again as a guide.

This is a well done tour. Could you do it yourself, yes but having Sara was a big plus. Sara did an excellent job of providing the “little extras” that you would not receive on your own. Simple little things like were to stand on the boat, etc. unless you want to do research you ca do this easy in 3 to 4 hours.

Rob was an excellent guide. Very informative and funny. Kept our group together. We recommend the 8.15am tour which finished about 12 am at Ellis Island. We spent about 3 hours on the museum.

Our guide Christian was very knowledgeable and, therefore, made the trip very interesting and fun. It was a sunny, hot day and there’s not a lot of shade. Remember to wear your sunscreen and maybe a hat in the summer.
