Arrive early to the launch point at Bowen’s Wharf, where your memorable sightseeing cruise departs at set morning and afternoon hours. (Please see ‘Important Info’ tab for sail times.) Board the lovely MV Gansett and find a comfortable seat in the cabin or on the open deck for a float through Newport Harbor and Narragansett Bay's East Passage. Relax and admire unobstructed views of the shoreline and attractions like Fort Adams, Hammersmith Farm, the Kennedy Compound and the fascinating Clingstone ‘House on the Rock’.
As for refreshments, morning cruisers are offered a complimentary mimosa, freshly-brewed coffee, tea, and juice. Afternoon guests partake in a complimentary offering of regional beverages like Del's Lemonade, Yacht Club soda, and Coffee Cabinets. A cash bar is also available, serving local beers, wines, and hard cider.
Your cruise ends back at the departure point with plenty of time to explore the bayfront.

- Confirmation will be received at time of booking, unless booked within 7 days of travel. In this case confirmation will be received within 48 hours, subject to availability
- Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Strollers and care seats are not allowed on board, but can be stored in the ticket booth.
- Wheelchair access down the dock to the boat, must be able to manage 3 steps to get on and off the boat. Wheelchair cannot come aboard, it can be stored in the ticket booth. Please advise if assistance is needed.
- Minimum drinking age is 21 years old
- Not wheelchair accessible
- All passengers are required to be checked in at the ticket booth 20-25 minutes prior to departure time to receive a boarding pass.

- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

The crew on the boat were very accommodating. Patrick our narrator was a wealth of knowledge and personality. The weather was perfect and the boat was comfort. I highly recommend this experience.

Coffee should be free. Diabetics cant have the 2 free sugary drinks offered. We had to pay a lot for hot drinks plus tip.

Hello, I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed a fun tour but disappointed that you did not get to enjoy an alternative to our Dels Lemonade or Coffee Cabinet. We usually offer coffee or water as an alternative to our complimentary Rhode Island specialties if anyone asks! In order to keep our ticket prices low we offer drink purchases of nonalcoholic from $1-$3 and alcoholic from $5-$7. We hope that you might join us again next time with this in mind! Great narration by Christopher! We really enjoyed the experience and would do it again! The boat was not rocky at all although the weather could have been better (cold and windy that day).
