It was so convenient to see Newport and take the "mansion drive" in the same excursion! The area is lovely, and the tour operator was knowledgeable and engaging! Interesting history tidbits were shared about the "rich and famous" and the downfall of the Gilded area, which only added to the gorgeous view by the waterfront. The quaint town of Newport is fun to walk through and enjoy the shops and restaurants. Don't miss it!
