What To Expect

Begin this Niagara wine country bike tour in Niagara-on-the-Lake, where you are fitted with a touring bicycle that’s equipped with bottle carriers and a handlebar bag. Set your own perfect pace as you set out along quiet, country roads lined with vineyards, fruit stands, and markets.

Visit a series of pre-selected vineyards that are biking-distance apart and taste wines at each destination. Ample sunshine and a cool climate give the Niagara-area grapes intense flavor and sweetness, and Niagara-on-the-Lake is considered the birthplace of Ontario wine production. The VQA-certified vineyards include Reif Winery Estates, Caroline Cellars, Marynissen Estates, FrogPond Farm Organic Winery, and Riverview Estate Cellars.

Any purchases you make along the way will be picked up and delivered to the starting point. This self-guided tour is well-suited to riders of all experience levels, and most cyclists complete the circuit in five hours or less.

great ride

The ride was wonderful and well laid out. I wish the office was opened earlier to get an earlier start . The bike was in rough shape the seat fell down during the ride and the chain came off. No one at the shop upon our return had to wait on attendant to return after 4:30.
