The maid of the mist boat ride was great! The views were amazing, however the rest of this experience was kind of awful. We were picked up at our campground by a mini van and then driven to a hotel ally where we got out and transferred to a shuttle bus, however, no one told us what was happening. I’m not sure if they did not speak English or just didn’t speak to us. We traveled to several other pick up locations until finally a tour guide got on the bus and affirmed the fact that we had not been kidnapped but were indeed going on a tour. I had no idea what else we were doing besides going on the maid of the mist. We were shuffled from place to place without being told the itinerary of the day. Our tour guide, while friendly seemed kind of clueless. After the boat ride, which was the highlight of the day, we did not wait for the tour to conclude, we ordered an Uber and left the tour as soon as we could.

Skip the tour and save your money! Maid if the mist was 25.00. Cave of the winds was 10. Tour Guide was bad. She couldn’t be heard and she rambled a lot. Waited an hour to get picked up. Guide took us away from attraction to promote some bakery. The attractions were awesome but the price I paid for five people was not!

Uncle Moe was a fantastic guide and did a great job at making my family feel safe and educated on the the falls experience. My only complaint is that I wish we had more time in between the maid of the mist and the cave of the winds. We didn’t get to go on the observation deck because the line for the elevator after the maid of the mist was extremely long and we ran out of time.
