What To Expect

Meet your guide at your hotel in Niagara Falls, New York prior to an 8:30 a.m. or 3 p.m. departure (choose upon booking). Upon arriving at the waterfall, one of the largest in the United States, take an elevator 175 feet (53 meters) down into Niagara Gorge. Prepare to get wet by donning an included poncho and specialty shoes, and then make your way to a series of wooden walkways that will bring you as close as possible to the falls at Cave of the Winds.

Then, hop aboard the Maid of the Mist boat to watch the Majestic Falls from the water, before heading to the American Observation Tower for views of Whirlpool Falls, Three Sister Islands, and Luna Island. Travel to Goat Island to see Horseshoe Falls, American Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls up close and from various angles; bring your camera (if it’s waterproof).

We took this tour on a very busy day - 4th of July. Our tour guide - Brian - was on time to pick us up from our hotel in the morning. He gave us a lot of information about the places we visited during the tour. He was nice enough to guard our backpacks while we are in cave of the winds. There were long lines in front of cave of the winds and maid of the mist. Brian helped us to skip the lines. That was pretty cool. This tour was great. Thanks Brian!

Niagra experience

Tour guides were very polite and knowledgeable of the area. Other group members made their scheduling difficult. This gave me a feeling of being rushed at times or bored at others while waiting for other group members. Tour guides were more of a chauffeur to the destination rather than an actual tour guide. If you don’t mind having to do any planning, this may be for you, but if you’d like to save money and visit Niagra at your own pace, that would be a better option. The area isn’t that big so if you find parking and don’t mind the walk, you can easily explore what the town has to offer.

The tour was great and with the peace of mind that we could get into the attractions at the time we wanted. The other guests were not respectful of others time and we had to wait a total of an hour or more for them to get back to the car, it ended up being a 7 hour experience with only the food and water we brought...Mickey was a delight and knowledgeable.

Our guide, Dalton, was so awesome and knowledgeable. We loved the intimacy of our small group. The only thing I would recommend is to make it clear to bring your own water and snacks because it is a long day. There were a few stops to purchase snacks. Naturally I left my wallet on the tour bus. Even better if bottled water was provided, it would have elevated the experience. But overall, this tour made for a memorable day.
