We had the most wonderful time on our trip to Niagra Falls! Our tour guide Billy was amazing, he was very knowledgeable about the falls and his jokes were great! We had a perfect day, a crisp sunny 62 so even the water wasn't too cold. The Maid of the Mist boat was amazing, it rode so smoothly over the water despite the power from the falls. And the falls! So majestic and powerful, I was left speechless from the sight of them. After the boat tour we headed to the observation deck for some breathtaking views of the falls and bridges in the distance. Afterwards we got a chance to explore the area and visit the other falls, then we headed to the Cave of the Winds. Being able to be next to the falls like that was incredible! The hurricane deck was our favorite part! Booking with viator was so simple, I also appreciated the call with all the information we needed to meet our guide before the tour. I'm so glad we booked with them for our unforgettable experience.

Guides great, but false ads about lines

The guide was great. The attractions were good. What's false in their advertising was that you wouldn't have to go through lines for tickets. The guide has to go through the line with you to get your tickets for Maid of the Mist ride. I'm thankful our line was really short. I bought the tickets, paying the higher price, specifically to get out of standing in line.

Thank you for the review! We advertise skip the line passes for cave of the winds because you do not have to purchase cave of the winds tickets or wait in that line. The timed ticket you were given was purchased by us ahead of time. We do not advertise skipping the maid of the mist line. At this time the maid of the mist does not provide access to skip for any groups or tours, otherwise we would definitely offer that as well. What you purchased would've been a higher price because it was for maid of the mist, cave of the winds skip the line passes and the trolly pass as well as an hour tour with a guide including stories, facts about the falls, a waterproof lanyard for your phone and someone to guide/take pictures for you.

Our tour guide Sam was awesome!! He was very knowledgeable and kept our interest as we walked along the park and rode the Maid of the Mist. Both parts of this tour were great! The falls were majestic and breathtaking. Having water pour over your head at the top of the Cave of the winds was an adrenaline rush for sure!! Definitely a check mark off the Bucket list!!

Horrible tour experience

The tour guide lead us to the maid of the mist, back to the gift shop then we got our tickets for the cave of the winds. Our tour guide left us behind and we had to try to look for our group. Our reservations for the cave of the winds was coming up and we were still waiting for the trolley. To avoid kissing our reservation, we ended up walking and trying to rush.

Hello, Foaundra. The tour that you purchased is a one hour walking tour plus the maid of the mist. At the end of that tour, the guide ends at the trolly station and provides Cave of the Winds tickets and trolly passes for you to continue onto the trolly on your own. I am not clear on what you mean by your guide left you behind or how you were missing your reservation as we space out 45 minutes to take the trolly over to the very first stop for Cave of the Winds. Please let us know if there is any way to clear this up. We are committed to excellent service and would love to find out what happened in between the end of the tour and getting onto the trolly. Thank you!

Darin was an excellent, fun guide. He handled out large group well, making himself audible to all. MOM boat ride was the perfect start, followed by Cave of the Winds, which is absolutely thrilling. Access to free shuttle for the rest of the day is included, so I recommend getting on the first tour of the day at 9 if you want to take advantage. We did, later shuttling to the Whirlpool Trailhead and walked the Gorge Rim Trail, heading down the stairs to lounge on beautiful flat bedrock right next to dramatically rushing water two miles below the falls. Moderate hike with about 350 steps down and then back up. Great day for the three of us! Mom, with two active teens.
