Provence Wine Tour - Private Day Tour from Nice

Erwan, our guide, is a sommelier specializing in the wines of Provence. He picked us up in Monte Carlo and drove us to the wineries. The 3 wineries spanned the historical production techniques from 2000 years ago up to today's computerized equipment. Each winery was fascinating and completely unique within themselves. We tasted some 18 wines with Erwan guiding us through how a sommelier examines a wine. We learned how aging changes the structure, how different mixing of grapes are done and many other wine production techniques. At lunch, Erwan dropped us off at the wonderful Cafe de Paris in Les Arcs. The food was outstanding. (Note: lunch is not included but it was worth every euro cent.) We had just finished a 2 day visit to Venice and a 10 day cruise all across the Mediterranean Sea seeing and experiencing many wonderful things. However, all 4 of us agree, this tour was the best, most enjoyable thing we did the entire trip. Thank you, Erwan, for a great adventure.

Had such an amazing day and awesome tour with Claire. I would HIGHLY recommend taking the tour through Provence if you have an opportunity. My goodness. Clair took us to 3 of the most lovely vineyards. Font du Broc (a newer vineyard was just gorgeous and had some very tasty wines). The first tour at Cheateau St Martin had such a lovely rich history and absolutely delicious roses. The final vineyard (can't remember the name) had a really unique history and also, again, great wine!!! Claire's tour was such a delight, she made the experience so memorable and just fun. She took us to a delightful little lunch spot in the middle of a town square that had really tasty food (hello zucchini beignets!) and helped us pick out a couple bottles to enjoy during the rest of our trip which we finished with no issue lol. Claire had the best combination of knowing about wine the "terroir" and selecting wines that you really like :) I was so happy we booked the tour. Definitely worth the fare and I would do it again. Peter is an outstanding guide made everyone in the group feel included . His selection of vineyards for the visit was very thoughtful.

Fantastic trip to the countryside surrounding the beautiful Nice. Tour guide, Caroline, was absolutely fantastic with so much knowledge of the wine industry and conversing with all members of our group. She took us to some amazing and diverse vin yards which really gave us a great insight to the wine making industry in the cote de Provence

Very well selected vineyards. Personalised “insider” tours. Deep appreciation on wines from vines to the lips ! Learnt a lot about Rose and also wine growing history of Provence. Special experience.

My boyfriend and I booked this tour for our first vacation together and it was absolutely delightful. Our tour guide Nanou was exceptional, accommodating and genuine, une vraie bouffée d' air fraîche! <3. At our meeting point (which was super easy) Nanou provided us with the itinerary and en route! As we were chatting our way to the first Winerie in Chateau Font du Broc, Nanou took the time to share some knowledge about the city and some main characteristics of the region. We really enjoyed learning about the different processes of wine making and oh my god, every sight of each winerie was amazing. I mean from a medieval replica cellar at the chateau Font du Broc to the Museum at the Chateau St. Martin cave to a very special organic wine Clos Cassivet full of sentimental attention. We enjoyed a very typical french lunch at the chateau St. Martin which was absolutely sumptuous and unforgettable :) This was absolutely a dreamy trip and thank you Nanou for making our time count in south of France. We will never forget the awesome tips you have shared with us in term of enjoying wine. And thank you for the amazing scenery as well. I recommend this tour without hesitation. Treat yourselves guys!
