Kamaua(Jason) was an excellent guide. We enjoyed his knowledge of the history of the islands from ancient times to the present. The visit to Pearl Harbor and the Arizona was so impressive. We also enjoyed the Polynesian Cultural Center. Jason took excellent care of us.

Learned about the Polynesian cultures, specifically their respect for humans and the earth. Pearl Harbor tour was excellent - verbal history given at USS Arizona was captivating. Our tour guide was helpful, knowledgeable and held a few tour surprises!

Loved our guide and really enjoyed Pearl Harbor. However the company needs to remove all reference to the Dole Plantation from the description of this tour. I booked it a year ago because they said there was a stop, but it's not included at all. Also the Polynesian Cultural Center is not a historical museum. It's a fundraising institute run by the Mormon Church, so don't expect historical authenticity. More of a Disney atmosphere. For history, go to the Bishop.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about his job. Excellent explanation about the history of Pearl Harbor and the various island countries. Especially favored the experience in Samoa, Tonga and Tahiti in the Polynesian Cultural Center.

Tour Changed Last Minute

We were disappointed that we didn't get to go to the Polynesian Culture Center. Our tour was changed at the last minute. We went to Pearl Harbor, which was great, to the macadamia nut farm, Dole Plantation, and a drive by tour of the north shore was substituted for the Polynesian Culture Center. Our tour guide was awesome. He did his best to make it a great day.

The tour was amazing and worth every penny! Highly recommend spending the money to take the tour if not for the experience just to not drive the road. Our tour guide Mak was education, informative and entertaining! He made everyone in the van feel like his best friend mixing in personal stories or jokes with so much knowledge of the road. His passion for the tour is evident and added to the whole experience! The sights are incredible and having a guide was great because the locals drive crazy and tourist drive slow- not a good combo on a windy, single lane in some spots, road. Mak was able to take us to spots that not everyone was stopping at! We had a great time!
So much to see at PH & PCC but not enough time at venue.

Anson was so nice and knowledgeable about the history of Oahu. He was always present when we had questions. He also drove us to the hotel it was so nice of him to do so. Which added to the experience that we will never forget as a family. Also the office staff was very attentive in getting confirmed for the day. Thank you Anson and crew.
