What To Expect

Your Oahu jet ski rental begins at Maunalua Bay, you’ll receive a 10-minute safety briefing about how to handle the jet ski, before changing in to your bathing suit and clipping into a life jacket.

From there, it’s a short ride offshore to a barge where the Yamaha jet skis are docked, and whether you choose a single or double ski for jet skiing on Oahu, you’ll soon be hearing the rev of the engine and feeling the wind on your face. The waters here in Maunalua Bay are frequently flat and calm, and are perfect for high-speed, white water patterns and speeding around the bay. Or, if you’d prefer to cruise at a slower speed and motor along the coast, you can admire some of Oahu’s nicest homes that line the Hawaii Kai shoreline, and gaze up at the Ko’olau Mountains and nearby Koko Head Crater.

Finally, after 30 minutes of racing through the turquoise Hawaii Kai waters, return to the barge to disembark and enjoy the ride to the beach. Your Oahu jet ski rental ends on the sandy shoreline of Maunalua Bay.

Even those it was lightly raining the H2o team made us feel like it was a sunny bright day. It was my husband's 63rd birthday and we did the tandem ride!!! It was a fantastic way to celebrate not being too old to have fun!!!

check in process at front desk was easy, The crew were nice and instruction was easy for 1st time user, if you can drive a car you can do this comfortably..it was scary at first. If you have your gopro you can use it or else they will make you pay up to $120 for photos and videos combined.

From the moment we got in the boat that took us to the jet skiing spot, my heart was already racing! The people were very friendly and down to earth! The best part was the actual jet skiing! We loved doing this on our honeymoon! My husband has been wanting to get on some Jetskis and we finally did. The staff was super helpful and kind and helped us out throughout the entire experience. We even got to purchase our photos and a video of us on the Jetski for an extra $80 bucks . We would definitely do this again!

It was ok. Friendly staff but you cannot take your phone because they want to force you to buy the video and photo package from a Gopro they mount on the Jetski, super lame. Also no free roaming, you have to take laps around 4 balls , like a lap course.

Everyone is very friendly! Activity went really smooth! For my first time the directions were very clear. We had an amazing time. Some tips: come already dressed, take cash on boat to to tip operators- they work hard. No phones, cameras, or devices on water.

Employees were very helpful and friendly. My daughter and I enjoyed riding your jet ski. Unfortunately we were shocked and disappointed that your team would not allow us to take personal pictures on the jet ski using our water proof phones. Why would you deny customers that opportunity? We’re on a tight budget (like many families) and could not afford to pay additional fees to purchase photos/ videos from your company. You ruined part of the our experience by not allowing us to have a memorable photo of our first time riding a jet ski together in Hawaii. Shame on you for being so greedy! You should include the photos in the price or allow personal pictures. Also someone stole my personal sensitive skin sunblock spray (purchased online) from my cubby bin while we were in the water. You had too many unsupervised people hanging around changing clothes and waiting for activities. An employee offered me a different sunblock spray but it was nothing like the one I owned. Thank God a phone or money wasn’t taken. Don’t think that would’ve been replaced so casually. If we’re not allowed to take our phones on the water rides please make sure customer items are safe!

Aloha nice customer. We can not allow phones for photo while jet skiing. It is a safety issue for you and other participants. It is non-negotiable. You are either driving the jet ski or holding on to someone who is driving. Mahalo for joining us.

The jet ski experience was great however I was charged for transportation and when I called the tour coordinator and was told that transportation is not provided. I had to order lyft service. The description is misleading. The description states that there is hotel pick up and drop off. This is not true.
