Ride with a view

The tour guide was good. However if you are looking to learn about the places you visit, you won't We stopped at the macadamia nut farm, dole plantation and coffee farm. Your tours at those places are not included. and you also don't have time to see anything. 20 minutes at each spot, Gives you enough time to shop the souvenirs. If you want the views of the island and to swim with the turtles this is your kind of tour. I wanted to learn more about each place we visited, not just shop.

The drive was beautiful; we enjoyed walking along Turtle Beach. We appreciatd the stop to see the castle and seeing the ancestral homes with their 99 year leases for $1 each. Our driver, Fege, dropped us off at our hotels rather than the original pick up point which saved us trying to find a city bus. And he was very knowledgeable describing everything as we rode.

The driver took us to interesting places and gave us a continuous narration. He was fun and very obliging. The shrimp shack and swimming in Turtle bay was my absolute favourite! He kept us entertained!

Not what it looks like

We got on our tour ready to see all the stops listed above. Come to find out that several others were anticipating other stops. Some were ready for the byodo-in temple, others Pearl Harbor. Our tour guide did not stick to anybody’s schedule that was anticipated, didn’t stick to any of the times that were supposed to be allotted for the stops. He was constantly begging for tips, which we know is somewhat normal since they work for them, but one or two times is enough in my opinion. The only reason I’m giving this 3 stars is because the information was highly informative and the tour guide was very articulate in his knowledge.

Aloha but this amazing circle tour does not include Pearl Harbor and Byodo-in. You are mistaken it for something else. It's specify in our Viator/tripAdvisor descriptions of product. Our local guide did do everything correctly with his priceless cultural knowledge, scheduled stops and tour itinerary. Everyone else were 5 star reviews on the same tour. It's boring. Not much...

It's boring. Not much physical activity. No turtle was seen. It's more of sightseeing and a lot of eating. Lol If you're a foodie, this is for you! The tourguide did his best to entertain us tho. At the end of the trip the bus brokedown so we need to wait for another to take us to the last drop off.

Not worth the money.

This is just a drive around the island. While we do stop - there are limited options where we stop and not a lot of activities to do. The snorkeling part of the trip was in muddy water and not in a place where we can see anything. Disappointed- we could have rented a car and had the same experience.

Yes! this is a circle island tour as described on the title. We have multiple stops which includes Dole pineapple plantation, Macadamia nut farms, Halona blowhole, Shrimp stands, tropical fruit stands, turtle beach,..and many more. It's a fun, stress free way to see and experience the island of Oahu that's narrated and guided by a local so you could learn the island's history, culture and also get to see where everything is located. Turtle beach is a natural habitat of green sea turtles, it's enjoyed by locals and tourists year round. mahalo!

Amazing Hawaiian Tour

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour! We especially lucked out having Paul as our tour guide. He took tour guiding to the next level and provided us education and history of Hawaii! He is amazing. He needs to clone himself😆He took pride in what he does and you could tell! The highlight of our tour was the Dole plantation and encounter with sea turtles. The Sea turtles weren’t as active but we still got to see one of them up close! We would like to thank Paul for being an amazing tour guide and for treating us all like family.

Turtle Beach Rip Off

This tour was a total let down , my family and I regret wasting an entire day of our vacation. We were rushed through every stop, we were forced to order dry shrimp and dry rice for lunch at an overcrowded restaurant when there was an area with multiple food trucks less than a quarter of a mile on the same road . The highlight of the tour was swimming and snorkeling at Turtle Beach, first of all it was filthy! Cigarette butts ,trash,homeless people and the water was full of floating objects including someone’s bikini top. Not one person in our group swam! Not to mention that we weren’t told we needed to bring our own snorkeling equipment “(not that anyone was going to snorkel) it was also overcrowded and not one turtle to be seen. This was the worst experience we’ve ever had on any vacation we’ve taken!

Unfortunately, Nature had let us all down that day with higher turbulent in the ocean causing turtles to dive deeper into the water. But the other 99% of the time, it's a beach favorited by locals and green sea turtles. In Hawaii, an overcrowded restaurant is usually a good sign the food is good. Sorry the food wasn't up to your expectation. However, our local guides will always share their cultural knowledge, experiences and do their best to ensure you have a safe and wonderful trip around the island. Some unforeseen-able natural events are beyond anyone's control. Mahalo!

Excellent tour guide, bad “turtle beach” experience

Our tour guide Shelly was the best part of the tour. However, the “turtle experience” was not good. Water was very dirty and you couldn’t see anything. We came all the way from New Jersey - and this water is just like the Jersey shore. We didn’t need to travel 11 hours and spend this kind of money for Jersey shore water. Needless to say, no turtles. I texted the tour operator about it. I suggested removing this beach from the itinerary. Instead of an apology, I got a nasty reply back. I understand not being able to change future itinerary, but a simple reply would have been sufficient. Not a text stating “I had to express myself to make me feel better”. What an aloha way to treat customers.
