Great time at Queen’s Waikiki Luau
    Larry_L, Mar 2023
The whole event was well run and entertaining. The MC was terrific, the musicians and singers were very good and the dancers were exceptional. Even though it was done in the centre of a mall the event was very authentic. Loved that it was close to our hotel and didn’t have to drive an hour or more to see the show. The food was very good and you were invited to go up for seconds if desired. You definitely got the luau experience and saw some exceptional performances of traditional dances done by the ladies and men in the group. The MC also did a great job of explaining local culture and language.
Ok but the food was Meh
    Teague_G, Feb 2023
While it was an ok experience, I would seriously consider the wording for “Polynesian feast” it was more like 7-11 packaged meals as they were portioned out and served. A tiny bit of shredded pork. And it rained, so they had this hideous tent that ruined all the photos. The dancers and cultural performances were great, we had seen them for free the day before (same dancers btw) at the Ala Moana shopping center at 5pm

Thank you for sharing your experience. While I'm sorry to hear that the food did not live up to your expectations, it's worth noting that different people have different tastes and preferences when it comes to food. Many people attending cultural events like this enjoy the unique flavors and presentation of the traditional dishes. Regarding the tent, I can understand your frustration with how it affected your photos. However, the tent was put up to ensure that the show could go on despite the rain. It's a tough balance to provide adequate shelter for guests while also maintaining an aesthetically pleasing environment. It's great to hear that you enjoyed the dancers and cultural performances. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
    Fun
    Nita_M, Dec 2022
The entertainment was lots of fun. Great family event. Enjoyed the dances the best. The venue was small and it was easy to see for everyone. Food was average but the entertainment was great.

Thank you for sharing your review of the Queens Luau! I'm glad to hear that you found the entertainment to be lots of fun and enjoyable for the whole family. It's great to know that you particularly enjoyed the dances, and that the small venue made it easy for everyone to see. While the food was only average in your opinion, I'm happy to hear that the entertainment was a standout and made for a great experience overall. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and I hope that you have the opportunity to attend another luau in the future!
    An Enjoyable experience

    Great experience

The engagement of the MC and the guest plus the dancers and fire man was amazing!! My only comment is the food was tasty but was not hot and there was no roasted pig like I thought it would be.
    Queen’s Luau
    Alyssa_D, July 2022
The luau was in the middle of a mall to start off. While we paid almost $300, there were people watching from show palace for free. There was no roasting pig or anything, food was mediocre. Would not recommend it’s too expensive for that type of experience

I hope my response will clear up some confusion and concerns with your experience. Regarding the location, the land which our luau is hosted is one of the most historical locations on Oahu. It was owned by King William Charles Lunalilo, the first elected king in Hawaiian history, who gifted the land to Queen Emma, who is responsible for opening the Queens Medical Center. The luau is hosted in the Queen’s Garden, which honors the healing spirit of the Queen, her hospital and her mission to always act with generosity and kindness toward others. We understand at first glance it appears our luau is hosted in a mall, but we are actually located in the Queens Garden surrounded by beautiful coconut trees and plants. However, our location is correctly advertised on our website and across all online platforms through text, images, videos as being located in the International Market Place so I hope this addresses your concern and anyone who is reading about the location of the luau site. I also want to address the complete value of what you get with the luau price for the readers who are not familiar with what a luau is. The price you pay for reflects the luau experience as a whole which include the interactive cultural activities, dinner, and Polynesian show. Here’s the PROS about attending Queens Waikiki Luau vs others luaus: 1. Conveniently located in Waikiki, which means you can just walk to our luau site instead of getting on a bus or driving an hour to the other side of the island and driving another hour back to other luaus. 2. Small intimate setting, which means one-on-one interactions with our performers. To put in perspective, we only have about 100 person capacity vs other luaus which have more than 600 person capacity. This means you will feel like family at our luau versus feeling like cattle being herded at other luaus. 3. Best value-All luaus have the exact same amenities which is the cultural activities, dinner, and show. We offer all those things with the additional benefit of intimate participation, convenient location, and at the most affordable prices. Other luaus are double the price. This is why Queens Waikiki Luau is one of the highest rated luaus on Oahu!
Waited too long to serve the food wasn’t the best
    Linda_H, July 2022
The fire dancer and vocalist were awesome! The mall location was convenient. The food was okay. The food wasn’t the best.
    Loss of money
    Iran_Y, July 2022
Booked an activity with this company and gave them all my info but when the time came to go to the event I noticed that the luau dance we booked was on a completely different island
    Hawaiian Experience
    Elizabeth_D, July 2022
Pricing is a little high and sitting is done indiscreetly. Directions to luau need to be more specific.
    A night to remember

Simply amazing. This was my first luau experience and the performances were awesome. The hostess was so funny.
    Luau
    Dave_A, July 2022
This luau was our first experience in Hawaii. It was well organized, the food was great, it was easy to find. The entertainment was awesome. They tried to bring a lot of experiences into just a couple of hours, and I feel they did a great job in doing that.
A nice experience in the heart of Waikiki
    Kristof_F, July 2022
An overall nice experience in Waikiki. The dancers were really doing well, especially the fire dancer was amazing! The atmosphere was good, the food was pleasant. I liked the humor of the conductor of the event. Maybe the serving could be improved (they serve on plastic plates with plastic forks and knives), and also if there is an order of seating, please, communicate it in due time!
    awesome dancing awesome...

awesome dancing awesome music awesome food. i loved auntie gigi it was all so cool and fun and awesome
    decent
    Heather_R, May 2022
The shows were cool, they had activities before the show and someone walking around giving temp tattoos. The food was pretty good, not fantastic. It was in the middle of the mall so it was a different kind of feel. The other luaus that are recommended are like an hour away and are actually located on a beach and have a different feel. this wasn’t bad just different. if you don’t want to travel and want to stay close to the hotel then this is a good option. the entry cost covers 2 mai tais or sodas free. any other drinks except water we’re additional.

The costumes and dancers we’re awesome.. wish the fire dancer did a little bit longer of a show.. food was so so
    PG13 family friendly atmosphere
    Nelby_R, May 2022
The experience was fun. If you have children 13 and older I would highly recommend. The location space was limited. The food was amazing. The show had a very slow start. The opening acts weren’t as exciting as we’d hoped. The host was fun, but hey had the stage for what felt like most the time. The cast was young, nonetheless talented. So passionate. Charming. Energetic. The hospitality was perfect. The best part of the show was the actual dances, and anytime they weren’t dancing it was pretty boring. The price was very steep for what you received. We bought VIP for about 170 dollars each, but I wouldn’t have paid that based off of the show. Too many jokes not enough Luau. Other than that, amazinggg staff! ❤️ Thank you for the experience

Our family had a great time at the Luau. Food tasted great and the entertainment was a lot of fun. I would recommend the Queens Waikiki Luau a must see if staying in the Waikiki area.
    Not worth it
    Valerie_K, Mar 2022
The people were great, very helpful, kind, and enjoyed themselves. The show itself was not what I was looking for. It is located in the courtyard of a mall, not outdoors or in a theater. The food was served buffet style and some of it was cold. There were a few to many tables for the space so it was hard to get up from your seat. It just was not worth the money and was not the experience we wanted
