Disappointed.

After I got home, I started looking at my paperwork for this tour. At the time, I thought we were supposed to stop at more places. Finally, sitting down to look at the tour, several items I am disappointed in. First, he drove right by us for pickup even though I was in the right place. So the tour was late starting. Several places we didn’t stop at - Waikiki War Museum, Laniakea Beach, Sunset Beach park and Haleiwa town center. We stopped at the Dole plantation but did not get a guided tour. What places we did stop at we enjoyed and everyone enjoyed Austin, our tour guide.

I’m so glad we decided to do this tour! We learned so much and even better we got to see some beautiful beaches!! We even got to see turtles up close and a couple whales in the distance. Daniel was great. Very personable. Wish we would have done this earlier in our trip, we would have definitely booked another trip with them!

Amazing Island Adventure

Highly recommended this tour to anyone visits Honolulu. DanielsHawaii Tour is such a great company. They didn't cancel our tour for the requirement of minimum number of people on the tour. We ended up having our private tour in a luxury van. We were so impressed with our tour guide /driver Christine! She is so friendly, thoughtful and professional. We really enjoyed her telling us the history of Honolulu and some interesting little stories about local attractions. She also taught us some Hawaiian words. We visited many different places with the breathtaking views. My mom and I had a wonderful time especially for mom's first time visiting Hawaii. Thank you so much Christine, you are the best!!! :)

We had a great day with our guide Ty taking us around the island! We were here on a cruise and due to a schedule change found ourselves with a full day in Honolulu with nothing to do. We found this tour and were so appreciative of them going above and beyond to accommodate us and Ty was a great person to have guide us all around the island. He is fun, knowledgeable and gave us a great experience and if I could have him as our tour guide on every trip it, we would always have a great experience. Marites was also so helpful in our booking and helping us find a hotel pickup that was close by. Highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for a relaxed way to explore the island without having to navigate on your own!

Good But Delayed and Then Harried

We enjoyed this tour. Upsides: Johnny was a fantastic tour guide and was more than accommodating. He was knowledgeable, fun, and he worked hard to ensure everyone was having a good time and was satisfied. The tour was filled with beautiful sights, and the drive was well worth taking. Downsides: the lunch stop was less than satisfactory and was harried. The group was larger than I had planned for and anticipated, so everything was delayed and then harried and rushed as a result. It began almost an hour later than we had been told. I think we even missed a stop. It was inconvenient hopping on and off the SUV frequently. My aunt was 90, and it was difficult for her to enter and exit the vehicle, despite the extra step stool that was provided for assistance. The sea turtle stop was also a disappointment. They weren’t swimming but merely eating algae off of rocks, and they were so black, they were camouflaged by the rocks and difficult to spot. Overall, we were glad we did the tour and we liked Johnny. However, a smaller group and more time;y tour would have been appreciated.

The day was filled with great scenery and some awesome stops. Our trip guide/driver, Matt, was extremely knowledgeable on the island culture and history..thank you! Possibility of a quick stop to catch some photos of the bigger waves on the North Shore would be a plus, but understandably a push for time and parking may be difficult. Overall a fantastic day. Tour guide Matt made this the most interesting and memorable experience with his informed commentary and professional friendly service. Pick up and drop off went smoothly with the added bonus of being dropped right to our cruise ship. Being a small group made all the stops possible in a timely manner and allowed for warm conversations and plenty of time for questions along the way. Food truck lunch was a treat as were all the photo stops and places of interest. Our sunglasses were left on the bus so Matt kindly let us know then went out of his way to make sure we were able get them back easily. Top marks for the best day out.

Great time! Tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Beautiful scenery. The ocean views are great! Stopped at food truck area for lunch and got some delicious shrimp and pork. Visit to the macadamia nut farm and dole plantation was great. Probably need a little more than 20 minutes at pineapple farm. Highly recommend

A very rocky start that turned out ok.

We were picked up an hour late and had to be driven to meet our bus. During this time, I had questions about the number of persons on the bus. The driver, who was very nice had me call his boss, who was very rude and a real jerk. I don’t know his name, but he certainly did not represent Daniels well.

Experience the entire island!

We have been to Waikiki a few times and this is a great tour to experience the entire island. We got local food and saw many secluded beaches and breathtaking views. We got a locals perspective. We loved eating at the north shore and our sons liked seeing the famous surf beaches. Sierra was a very entertaining tour guide.
