Taylor was an amazing instructor, and she helped me actually surf a couple of waves. Overall, very informative, exciting, fun, and just a total blast of an experience. Taylor absolutely knows what she's doing and it shows. She's also fun to get along with, and her teaching style & mannerisms made the experience better. We would've booked a second class with her if we were staying in Oahu for longer; it was that good. If you've never surfed, try Stoke Drift with Taylor. You will not be disappointed.

We booked an 8am surf lesson with Joey. He was all in all a great surf instructor. Paddling out to the surf area was a big help from him. Would love to do it again when we get a chance to visit Oahu again!

We booked this lesson for us and our older teenage sons. It was awesome to get out there and learn the basics of surfing. Our instructors Joey & Lama were great and super encouraging! Physically it was much more strenuous for my husband and I than we anticipated, and we’re in pretty good health, but being able to be out there doing this together was the best!! We caught some great rides and the photographer caught every moment for us!

We searched a lot to find this company and so glad we did! Right from the start the staff Are super friendly and helpful This company gives you A rash shirt to surf in which a lot of companies don’t offer The best part is you are only two people with an instructor We lucked out and got Dane Who was a lot of fun and put you at ease in the water and was incredibly Attentive and enthusiastic encouraging He was determined both of us Would stand on the board before the end of the lesson It was a lot of fun And never felt pressured to end the lesson So glad that we found this company and would recommend it to anybody

Stoke Drift personnel were gracious enough to reschedule our class to another day and time to make our experience more enjoyable and we did! Ua our instructor was the best…respectful, thorough and very patient. He really encourages you to push through and never give up. The only downside was no pictures by the surf boards were offered and I ran into a VERY RUDE staff of Waikiki Shore Services. He deliberately took the rented umbrella that Stoke drift provided. Staff never apologized.
