Overview

An exciting journey of discovery through the beautiful Amelia Earhart Point on the ocean-facing slopes of Diamond Head Crater (drive-by), the famous Halona Blowhole, “From Here to Eternity” beach, Makapu’u Point (drive-by), visit Valley of the Temples, colorful Byodo-in Temple and scenic Mokoli'i Island. This full day tour includes a delicious lunch at the famous Fumi’s Shrimp Stand on the North Shore where you'll be served your choice of various sautéed shrimp plates. *Chicken and Vegetarian options are also available. After your delicious lunch, you will visit the world famous Waimea Valley, the Arboretum and see an incredible Waterfall, followed by the Dole Pineapple Plantation.     Hotel PICKUPS CAN START EARLIER THAN THE OFFICIAL DEPARTURE TIME depending on your pick up location!! *PLEASE CHECK your email box and/or phone for confirmation details regarding your actual pick up time! Please let us know the FULL NAME of the actual Waikiki hotel where you are staying in the comment section as soon as you are able to. Once we receive your booking, our reservationists will automatically assign the closest pickup location for you. (Or IF you are not staying in a hotel, then please provide a street address for your accommodation.) If you don't know your hotel yet, no problem, we will just assign the default Ala Moana hotel pickup for you and you can change it anytime up to 24 hours before the tour departure time. You will get a written confirmation from us including your pickup time and your exact pickup location with maps and photographs of the meeting area. Please look for this message from us in your booking agent's message board and/or in your personal email box to see your detailed pickup instructions. We leave the Waikiki area by 7:45 AM but hotel pick-ups start as early as 7:00 AM depending on your pick up location. *PLEASE CHECK your email box for confirmation details regarding your actual pick up time! Tour ends at 5:45 PM . Drop offs then begin and might go until 6:30 PM depending on your drop off location.

    Fantastic day! Paul was superb and we learnt so much about the island. A lot was packed into the day with enough time at each stop without feeling rushed.

    Our tour guide, Paul, did a wonderful job in introducing all scenic spots throughout the day, and gave extra tips on traveling within the island. He was helpful, humorous and most importantly, knew Oahu very well. We all could definitely feel his passion. The team managed time very well and we could visit all designated spots with adequate time. All spots - coastlines, lookout spots, Fuji’s shrimp lunch, Dole Plantation, Waimea Valley, were very worth visiting. It’s definitely worth paying for the tour, if you need an overview of key spots of island or like me, who couldn’t drive.

    This was such an amazing experience! But what made it even more special was our tour guides, Paul and June! Paul was hilarious! My family hasn’t stopped talking about his jokes yet! You can sense the genuine love that Paul has for the island and dogs. He went the extra mile to make sure that we enjoyed ourselves. He made us feel like family! Paul is extremely knowledgeable, he taught us so much about the island! Paul, we lava you!!! (You’ll catch that if he’s your tour guide)

    So important to us, seeing the “backside”/ windward side of the island. The Ultimate Circle Tour did a fine job of this, since we did not wish to rent a car while staying in Waikiki (cheaper than a car rental too!) The scenery was beautiful, lush, rich with flowers and steroidal houseplants. Lunch at Fumi’s was authentic & delicious. Highly recommend this trip to those who want a Bigger Picture of Oahu. Paul and Benny were great. Could’ve used a bit more quiet time to digest all we were learning and seeing, especially on the trip back to Honolulu. Also think the Dole stop is completely unnecessary. No information or samples of pineapple. Just an overpriced gift shop. Would MUCH rather see Ka’ena Point and the southwestern island scenery.

    Seeing the wonders of nature. The tour guide was very informative. It was disappointing not seeing pineapples in fields instead of just stopping at the store to shop.

    Hi Rodney, Thanks for your 5 star review. Usually you can see pineapples growing in the fields as you drive up the road from Haleiwa to the Dole Pineapple plantation on the side of the road. Sometimes they might be harvesting and the pineapples have been picked and the fields are then prepared for planting. For all future travelers reading this; you can see pineapples in the ground at the Dole Plantation by visiting the colorful pineapple variety garden where different species of pineapple are grown.     Paul and Mr. Kim are great! They provided humor along the way, a lot of history and storytelling and some amazing bus driving! Thankful for the organization of the tour and the schedule. The tour provided some great history of Oahu and the towns along the coast. We would not have seen this much of Oahu on our own, so this type of tour is excellent. We did end up going back to one of the towns we went through on the tour (our special bonus) and sent a post card to family back home from there. This tour is a great way to fit a lot of the island in a one-day trip and then you can decide what you might want to go back and spend more time at. Thank you from Colorado!

    10 hours on a Bus looking out the window

    The sights were beautiful but the stops were to short to actually do anything. A 20-30 minute stop at each place really only allows for the bus to be unloaded. Bus is 65 people strong. There were many people who were not respectful of the time which made the longer stops shorter. The only real activity of the day was the hike to the waterfall. Getting wet was not allowed at the waterfall or the Chinaman's Hat. The Dole Plantation is nothing but a big gift shop. There are tours but time doesn't allow for one. If you just want to see the sights and not actually do anything this is the tour for you.

    Hi Ashley, Thanks for your review. The luxury bus has huge windows so everyone can see the great views . We have 58 guests maximum all of whom have great,comfortable seats. We ask that everyone return to the bus on time at each stop and we hope everyone will cooperate. We stop at nine amazing locations that include the best places to see on O’ahu. Our guests enjoy a minimum of 5 hours OUTSIDE of the bus at these stops. We travel over 120 miles on some of the most scenic roads in the world so our guests can see and enjoy our 600 square mile beautiful island from the southernmost point to the northern most. Our lunch stop is 45 minutes and is one of the highlights of our tour where our guests can enjoy one of the delicious shrimp plates at the highest rated local shrimp place on Oahu. It is located on land owned by the James Campbell National Wildlife Refuge and our guests can see endangered Hawaiian waterbirds Hawaiian Black-necked Stilt, Hawaiian Coot and Hawaiian Moorhen nearby while enjoying lunch. The Pali Lookout and Chinaman’s Hat are TOP highlights on O’ahu and are world famous. Many guests enjoy the tremendous wind that is funneled through the pass. Byodo Temple is our 4th stop and it is a beautiful recreation of a Japanese Buddhist temple in Kobe, Japan. It is situated at the base of 2,000-foot amazing Pali cliffs. The 5th stop is Moiliili also called Chinaman’s Hat. This scenic island is one of the iconic sights on O’ahu and has been the background for many movies. Waimea Valley is our 7th stop and one of the tour’s highlights. This is a 2 hour stop. Guests can swim in the waterfall but we advise against it for safety reasons. We offer the famous North Shore Shrimp location for lunch because almost all of our guests prefer a local dining experience. We stop at Dole Plantation mainly as a restroom stop but also so our guests can view the Pineapple demonstration garden where you can see many colorful varieties of pineapple from around the world.
