Wonderful Tour with Kids
Kathleen_S, Mar 2023
Alex was our amazing guide! He was very personable and incredibly knowledgeable! We had a fabulous day kayaking, cliff jumping and visiting the towns of San Marco and San Juan. We really enjoyed learning about the Mayan weaving. It was an excellent experience! Would highly recommend this tour. We had our kids ages 10 and 11 and this was great for them!
TAKE THIS TOUR!!

Marce was an absolutely fabulous tour guide. He grew up in Pana and studied Geology/Hydrology in Vancouver, so his background knowledge is beyond what we expected from the tour! We learned so much! The kayak, hike, and cliff jumping was so much fun, and learning about the communities around the lake and conservations efforts were an added bonus that made this experience unbeatable. He even picked us up from where we were staying right outside Pana.

Thank you for your positive comments, Natalie. We are happy to hear you enjoyed your day with Marcelino. We hope to see you back here again some day.

We had Alex as our guide. He seemed to know the area and everyone there! He was particularly up beat and fun to be around. I highly recommend.

We had a wonderful day! My niece and I were staying with a friend in Panajachel and decided we were ready for a lake adventure. Every aspect of this experience went smoothly. We were met at the public launch by Samuel who escorted us by boat to Santa Cruz la Laguna where our kayak adventure would begin. While Samuel readied the kayaks, my niece and I relaxed in the hammocks at Los Elementos Adventure Center admiring the beautiful views of Lake Atitlan. The wind on the lake started to pick up, but we managed to navigate just fine under Samuel's direction--as we kayaked, we hugged the shore and dreamed about living in one of the many beautiful homes we passed along the way. After the kayaking, we hiked back to Los Elementos. On the hike we had sweeping views of the lake, meandered through a quaint village where we stopped for a delicious lunch, and delighted in the variations of flora and fauna along the trail. Samuel was funny, informative, and an absolute delight to have as our guide. Also, the owner of Los Elementos was friendly and welcoming. It was a wonderful day--made very special by Samuel's expert company. I highly recommend this experience!!
