A wonderful and informative tour

We were fortunate to have Jennifer Davis as our tour guide of memories in France for the Memories in France company touring the beautiful Museum d’Orsay. She was extremely knowledgeable, and very kind and explained everything in detail. We arrived as our tickets recommended, 15 minutes prior to entry to the museum. Everything as far as check-in went very smoothly. If you were carrying something and you’d like to store it, there is a storage locker that is available to you. You do have to send your belongings through a security check, however you are able to bring in water and a small flat backpack. Jennifer shared her knowledge with us regarding the main impressionist painters and indicated to us quite a bit regarding how each of them learned their craft. She also shared important information regarding the building itself which was once a train station. Our experience as a foursome was terrific. We skipped all the lines, just as the tickets said we would. If you were going to Paris and have a limited time, I highly recommend this company for tours. I went through TripAdvisor and Viator. We booked all of our tours for our short stay in Paris through this company. This was our third one and everything has been great!

Great historical overview with a lot of interesting stories from history of art in 18,19 centuries. Our really excellent guide has shown us key milestones represented in art and also many details about painters. The guide was on time. Her accented English was tough to follow. The art work was stunning. The best impressionist paintings are in the US, so there is a small sample of Monet, Renoir, Gaugin, and Van Gogh.
