Don't do this and the Catacombs on the same day, unless your gym workout includes the stairmaster!
The lift is reserved for those who need it so don't think you're getting a ride to the top.
Remember that it is A LOT of stairs, so plan accordingly.

Views of the city were great and the best views of Paris that we have seen. Staff were helpful and attentive to special needs. There was a self guided tour.
    Terrace Closed
    Robin_M, May 2023
Bought tickets in advance to avoid the ticket line - waited in line to go to the terrace, waited 40 minutes at which time a sign was posted announcing the terrace was closed for the day. Not the fault of Viator which has always worked well for bookings in the past. We may be able to use the tickets later during our stay but almost don’t want to waste the time.
    Historically significant
    Mark_W, Apr 2023
Interesting tour spot of great historical importance. Moderately challenging climb (281 steps as I recall) but there is a tiny elevator option. Directional markings for ticket holders required some patience. Employees are cheerful and helpful. Be sure to walk around the base to see the tomb of the unknown and the various plaques.
    Long lines
    Ram_P, Apr 2023
Took a long time in line to go up and merged it with general admission . It took more than hour in line to go up.
    Sky views of beautiful Paris
    Nicole_K, Apr 2023
Wonderful views. Staircase to climb to the top are narrow and many steps to the top. Doorways to stop and catch your breath. Well worth it for the experience of seeing Paris sky high.
    Amazing Historical Sight.
    Capri_H, Mar 2023
This is an amazing historical sight! Going through the Arc and up to the top is definitely worth it. The only thing I would say is it can be hard to find the entrance. You have to go through the underground staircase and the signs are not exactly clear.
    Views are great

Stopped on hop off bus. Viator helped skip the line at the end of the underground tunnel and before security. Nice climb and super views. We’ve done Empire State Building and this was nicer with less fencing. Recommend it for the good price, history and views. Family gives thus thumbs up.

Beautiful monument. Be aware there is a 9:45 PM cutoff time for taking the stairs to the top. They will not let you up past then.
Great stair workout & views for the reward!
    Emilie_P, Mar 2023
No complaints. Those with tickets, were checked in fairly quickly. The 284 steps to the top weren’t terrible…just pace yourself! :) Views were amazing, of course!
    Buy from there not here
    Evelyn_G, Mar 2023
Definitely do it. Just don't book thru here. You pay 4 times what it cost. So please save money and buy there
    Go!
    Jessica_D, Mar 2023
I had no idea you could even go inside/up the Arc! Super worth it amazing view of the city! 200 stairs up or there is a lift.
Excellent views at an excellent price.
    thedunnclan, Feb 2023
280 steps to one of the best views we have ever seen. There was a queue but it went through quickly though.
An experience to do, and to repeat.
    Tim_M, Feb 2023
Absolutely loved the experience. Equally, at the time of our walk up it coincided with dusk, so we beautifully saw the sun going down over the city.
    Disappointed
    Toni_G, Feb 2023
It was closed on the day we had tickets for but we were not notified beforehand and we were allowed to book tickets
    Great experience
    Veronika_B, Feb 2023
Very easy to find and cheaper than on-site. Anytime access during a day. I love little history film about the whole Arc De Triumph. Balcony view was amazing.
    Good experience
    Feliciana_A, Jan 2023
This was a different experience but no complaints, myself and my family had a good experience. We had to climb a lot of stairs to reach the top of the building but when we finally reached the top of the building we took a lot of lovely pictures and had fun.
    Misleading Offer - Not Recommended!
    Nuncio_D, Dec 2022
We bought this tour because it clearly said “Skip the Line” and that is a full “Lie”. This tour will not keep you from doing a very long line to pass security, it might only save you time for the line of people who is buying tickets there (which is obvious). So, if you (like us) are in a tight schedule, forget about this trip. We could not use it, it will take us more than one hour just the line (that we could not skip) and then the tour itself. So we wasted our money because we could not use these tickets. Not Recommended!!
    Don’t buy from Viator
    Kemp_C, Dec 2022
Even through everything was shut down for Covid - Summer 2020, they would not offer any kind of refund or credit. Way cheaper pricing at GetYourGuide now….and it’s refundable. Just rebought our tickets there for Summer 2023….we’re trying again but using a different company for sure. Viator - YOU HAVE TO TAKE BETTER CARE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS!
    A nice experience
    Laurence_D, Sept 2021
Unfortunately the Arc was being set up for the Christophe exhibition in a week so there was scaffolding and fencing at the top of the monument. Nevertheless I was able to take some great pictures at the top and there were few other people to hinder the view.
    Stairs to no where
    Suzan_H, Sept 2021
A LOT of stairs! Got to the top and there were no windows. I would have enjoyed it more from only the ground.
