We had visited Paris previously, so...

We had visited Paris previously, so we'd seen the major attractions. This allowed us to see a different, more local side of Paris. We saw out of the way places and got a local's perspective. The guide was terrific - he listened to our interests and crafted his tour accordingly. We also learned to use the bike rental system, which came in handy for the rest of our trip.
