There is approximately 1 mile of walking. Also, there are approximately 130 steps down and 85 steps back up to street level. This tour is not recommended for people who have mobility issues or anxiety in closed spaces. Please note that the temperatures in the Catacombs are 14 degrees centigrade.

Skip the line access for the Catacombs is essential unless you like waiting in lines at least 90 minutes to 3 hours long.

There is a lot of walking and many stairs so I would not suggest this for anybody with mobility issues.

Skipping the lines and getting to see a few restricted areas only available to tours was well worth the extra cost.

Fun and interesting tour. Our guide Igor was very knowledgeable and made the tour a lot of fun. There is a lot of walking and many stairs so I would not suggest this for anybody with mobility issues. Also one couple brought their baby with them on the tour: this is not a good tour for a baby. It's dark and there is nothing to hold a baby's attention. Due to the cavernous nature of the tunnels, a baby cries drown out the tour guides comments. Best suited for children 10/12 and above

When we arrived at the catacombs for our tour, the line to get in wrapped around the building. We were very grateful we had a scheduled tour so we could avoid waiting for hours. Amber was an excellent tour guide, she provided several interesting facts we wouldn’t have known otherwise. We were even able to tour restricted areas of the catacombs others were not allowed to enter. Amber has a great respect for the catacombs and the people laid to rest there. This was our favorite tour during our visit to Paris. Highly recommend!

The guided tour was amazing! The guide was funny, informative, and really made sure that our group got the best experience we possibly could. He even made sure no one outside the group snuck in. It was really super nice and we absolutely loved it. We feel like if we had just done the audio tour it would not have been the same.

Our guide, Igor shared his knowledge of the Catacombs and the rich history of Paris. He made sure everyone in the tour saw and heard about each section and helped us capture the best pictures. The VIP sections of the Catacombs and the skip the line ticket made this superb! Highly recommend this tour.

This was the first thing we did when we got to Paris - Viator needs to update the meeting point for this tour; it meets in front of the actual entrance instead of the green building that used to be the entrance. David was our guide and was very knowledgable. His tour had lots of humor but also covered a great deal of Parisian history. Not only do you get to skip the line, but you also get access to areas extra areas. My only feedback is that perhaps the size of the group was a little too big to fit in some of the spaces. I don't feel like I missed anything, I just feel like everything took longer because we were always waiting for too many people to get from point A to point B.

I booked this your three times and it got cancelled with no reason three times. The first time I booked it six months in advance and they cancelled one day before event. Booked again twice and cancelled twice. Very disappointed!!!!!

Catacombs was very interesting, mysterious, a little creepy (in a good way). Our guide was fantastic. He was knowledgeable and shared a lot of stories about the catacombs as well as history of Paris. In this tour we got to visit sites that are off limit to public. Highlight of the trip!
