Erwan was exceptional! He had a knack for including the entire group & making the experience enjoyable. We learned a lot about the different regions of France in relevance to wines & the differences in ordering wine as Americans vs Parisians! Great lessons & I highly recommend this your. His location is also close to the Eiffel Tower if you’d like some pictures.

I LOVED this wine tasting with Erwan. I love it so much that we’ve done it multiple times and recommend it multiple times. This is an incredibly thoughtful wine tasting for small groups that makes it easy to connect. We learned how to dissect French wine menus, which makes restaurants far less intimidating now. We tried five different French wines and cheeses from various regions of France, including both whites and reds. Erwan sells the wines (and others!) for very reasonable prices. (There was a Grand Cru for 22€!) He also ships to the US. You will get a list of the wines and cheeses provided, which is great if you want to try things on your own.

I booked this wine tasting as a surprise for my aunt on our trip to Paris. Erwan (the owner of the Secret Wine Door) was very friendly and passionate about wines. He also explained wines in a very “easy to understand way” for French wine novices like ourselves. I enjoyed the cheese pairings and that the class was just long enough to keep our interest. I ordered a case of different wines from the tasting and some others from the shop after the tasting and just received it (it took a good 3 weeks to ship to America) and will be enjoying these soon. Overall, great experience.
