Beautiful experience

One of my favorite excursions on our three week European vacation! Don’t miss this amazing experience to visit the beautiful gardens and home. The tour guide picked us up in a small van and we were allowed to visit a portion of the property at our own leisurely pace. She was very knowledgeable about Monet and his art, and showed us some illustrations to help understand the history of his life and works. A truly wonderful trip. My husband was reluctant to book this one but ended up enjoying it immensely!

Giverny is a must visit!

It was a quick trip out of Paris jam-packed with deep context about Monet. Learning about his family, seeing his eccentric house, and of course walking through the beautiful gardens. It's surreal standing in exact places where Monet painted his water lilies. I'll never look at those paintings the same way again, and I love this trip for that.

A Magical Morning

The visit to Giverny was one of my favorite parts of our trip to Paris. We went on the morning tour and were the first ones in Monet’s water lily garden at 9am. The first 10-15 minutes, having the garden to ourselves, was absolutely magical! The van pickup and drop off were convenient. Our tour guide, Lily was friendly and informative. The small group made the experience feel intimate and pleasant. I highly recommend this tour for fans of Claude Monet, gardening enthusiasts or anyone visiting Paris who would like a little jaunt to the countryside. Don’t forget to leave enough time for the gift shop. It had a great selection and wasn’t too expensive!

The journey to Giverney was nearly an hour would have helped if the driver/guide had imparted some information while driving. Once we arrived there got a brief account about Monet’s life and left to our resources. Had about 2 hours there. It was packed with tourists which didn’t help. We saw other guides staying with their groups and kind of listened to their talks. Not worth the money spent. Disappointing visit

I had a great time visiting Monet's Gardens and Gravesite. We were a small group, so we had a lot of individual attention from our wonderful, knowledgable tour guide, Ulyss. We had time for ourselves, which I really appreciated because I wanted the chance to explore at my own pace. I never felt rushed. It was very busy, but this is to be expected on a weekend. I'd do this tour again (and I will), but I'll hope for my same tour guide!

Outstanding driver and guide. Learned so much about Giverny and Monet. The grounds and gardens of Monet's home are impossible to describe, and the pictures do not show the full beauty. It is a place that must be seen to comprehend the majesty of nature fully. The air-conditioned ride was pleasant and comfortable, and each place we visited was timed perfectly. There is sufficient time to see everything but not too long at any one place. It could not have been more perfect. I did a tour in the afternoon, and I loved our guide and felt the price was a bargain for the memory of a lifetime.

We loved our trip to Giverny. Our van was very comfortable and air conditioned, our driver/tour guide was very accommodating and informative, and we made new friends along the way. We arrived at the Claude Monet estate early around 9:00am, and we were nearly the first group to experience the grounds for the day. Highly recommend!

A Bucket List Tour

A friend and I took this tour recently when we were visiting Paris. The tour began in Paris at the time planned. Will, our tour God and his trainee side kick were very personable and provided some good information about Monet's beautiful estate. Most of the time in Giverny was on our own. The gardens are beautiful and the house itself a treat to see. If you have a love of Monet's work, visiting it should be on your bucket list. It would have been nice to have had the time to walk around the village, but the line to tour the house was long, and that was our priority. Would my friend and I do it again...most assuredly.
